Market value of TAL shown as between approx 2-3m. Wonder what DODS will value it at and what may be accepted. Bought into some TAL too. Hoping it will be good prosperous venture. Dods have not done too well with past acquisitions here is hoping they'll do right this time. My monies riding on it :)

Events and training seems a good fit and TAL also being a communications media business should rub off some shiny stuff on each other. How typical though, DODS sp drops whilst target TAL sp rises. Gets my blessing for now hoping they'll mutually benefit each other whilst cutting down shared costs.

Thinking with all the contacts and data Dods has, teaming up with some polling organisations around market research and consultancy can add value and interest to clients, thus raise subscription numbers. All very exciting.

Acquisitions require serious work and due consideration. What M&A experience do current management and Dods have?

Results are fab and more upside due I think, especially in light of dividends forming on the horizon. Now is the time to load up. Only a matter of time before price starts moving up again. Acquisition or dividends they say? Prefer dividends every time. Acquisitions carry cost and risk!

It is well received. :) Call me MrGreedy if one must and in the absence of any meaningful current financial data, I'll go with a Fib 1.61 extension (taking current mid value from 12.5) to a delightful test of 20p. These dizzy heights should compliment the move to the Shard quite well indeed. Extension will get rejected around 20s for a test of support with a probable retreat to 15p.

I like your analogy - moving into a new stadium. :) Considering what an iconic building the Shard is, I do hope Dods lives up to expectations. Also, wondering how Leicester will do next season and similarly if they can repeat performance? As for the new COO and that clip, great stuff, I imagine Dods pays better than acting. Well I always thought Dods was undervalued and based on my research believe it still to be so. Did think along the same lines as your post. Revaluation of the digital media industry or one company such as TimeOut (if it does fetch that price) should lead to a revaluation of associated companies. Have being adding to position. So far so good. :) ADYOR and all that.

What???? Time Out is aiming to float the company with a valuation of more than £200m, according to Sky News, which first broke news of the plans on Friday. £200m for a mag they hand out for free??? I'm thinking it's over priced!!!
