WTP ….your post epitomises what is wrong with these boards. Why be so rude when a question is asked.. or a theory put forward…and make unfounded assumptions just because the question obviously doesn’t fit your own blind faith. An educated person explores all available avenues.

We need additional funds for two reasons :

a) to keep the lights on

b) to fund the iSCIB trial

If one works out the total of A+B and divide this by the number of shares in issue ….then would this equate to a potential placing price? We may of course get something from Genmab …but who knows , there are too many uncertainties to factor this into a tight timescale.

I think listing on the NASDAQ and raising funds is the only option if we fail to get a deal .

Crusty..indeed. Certainly momentum has stalled..volume down and SP drift ..but as LTHs we are still following the carrot 😂

We are where we are.. yes, opportunity was better elsewhere but Scancell have been steadily building up the data and we have had the opportunity to invest at discount value. Even now you can buy at 23 against a Trinity value of 36?odd pence.

We have however arrived at a major inflection point…funding for the iScib trial. PH has publicly recognised the support of UK shareholders….i hope he now has the opportunity to reward us with a fantastic deal (with a little help from Redmile and Vulps) .

Cleanerworld…when they did their due diligence on Sath.. they must have looked into Scancell as a company . As to Larry’s involvement in the appointment, I would expect not but it depends how hands on he is …may be he was 🤞

Dried up…. Currently only 112.135k so buys/sells will start moving this disproportionally . ASCO hype and expectations have now passed for yet another year…deals concluded and announced…back to waiting it out for the elusive deal/inflection point /Nasdaq announcement/placing /modi results/ Genmab milestone payment…which will come first?

WTP…. Yes, Scancell got what was described by some in this forum as a low upfront payment from Genmab for £7 odd million…but as a very long term holder who has subscribed to all but one fundraising… I can confidently say other than the Genmab deal all funding has come from shareholders as acknowledged by PH only recently. Scancell over the past years have spun the phrase “non dilutive funding” only to rattle the can at a later stage. That’s how small biotechs grow and I accept the need to seek funding . It has got us to the strong position we are now in .

So, as I stated, I really hope this time is different and the phrase “non dilutive funding” comes to pass and we really get the transformative deal we all deserve .

I am praying for a deal/ funding of some sort …. As we run down the bank balance the BOD always indicate non dilutive funding which hasn’t happened to date. Hopefully this time it will be different…we have fantastic mature data and a green light from the FDA.

Moderna currently down 2.23% and Merck down 2.54%…..perhaps it’s the “Scancell affect” 😂😂

Excellent results for this trial but it’s a personalised vaccine and needs to be administered into a lymph node in the armpit or groin ..

ISCIB still have the overwhelming advantage…but it does go to show that we need to get on with the funding and trial. Other biotech companies are chomping at our heels .

Looking tight for any announcement related to Scancell as the conference ends tomorrow ☹️. Still a chance something may happen but looking like the big news items are already out .

Dr. Larkin concluded his presentation of the RAMPART trial as follows:

Durvalumab monotherapy following resection of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) showed no statistically significant improvement in Disease Free Survival (DFS) compared with active monitoring.

Durvalumab plus tremelimumab significantly improved DFS compared with active monitoring.

Safety findings were consistent with the known profiles of these agents, but rare immune-mediated adverse events, including fatal myocarditis and myasthenia gravis, were observed.

No evidence of a difference in overall health and quality of life (OHQL) was observed at month 15 with either durvalumab monotherapy or durvalumab plus tremelimumab.

….So there is still unmet need for treatment and hopefully MODI results will fill the gap 🤞🤞
