So, how low does the sp need to drop before a formal resolution is collectively proposed for the Chairman to be sacked?

Keep in mind the drop comes on micros sized trades, many of which are under £1k.

GE divesting its stake in Baker Hughes. BH will still be a powerhouse O&G services company though, even if standalone, as it's historically been.

Re rig tender process, that's a crock of sh**e. JB is good at allowing himself lots of wiggle room, like a good lawyer does, but he knows, we know that they meant to close out that process well and good by end of H1. They can fudge it all they want and still claim technicalities, but it doesn't do them any favours. Time to grow a pair and show their cards already!

Based on twittersphere, it does seem an RNS on HH will come this week. Could be a busy news week with ARA release + news (maybe??) on CH1 rig, as promised by AEX that it would be sorted by end of Q2.

It does sort of sounds like that. Let’s see what Aex has to say about its promise to secure a rig by end of Q2. Or are they dragging their heels there for another reason

Not sure why he says TZ "may" involve spudding an appraisal well. Monetising the asset over next few months? NR is very wishy-washy with his choice of words. No wonder no one knows what to believe.

I managed to find the few mins to listen to it. Usual helium mumbo jumbo, but interestingly, he still expects TZ CH1 drill to happen "late Q3/early Q4." Hopefully we'll hear some thing from AEX soon on contracting a rig, which they promised by end of this month.

Hah, quite right about drill costs covered. It's just the drill 'prep' they can afford. So, the millions they've raised to date at least covers some fancy laptops and jollies through the Serengeti. How nice for them.

I would agree with all those. I read today's RNS as a 'So What?'. Surprised the valuation for pre-IPO funding hasn't gone up more -- a telltale sign we paid too much for such an early mover, whereby we took on a lot more risk for little gain (NR could use a crash course on how the real VC companies work). Second, I no longer have any faith the IPO will happen this year. If the drill is funded surely they wouldn't go public until after results have been proven? IPO funds going towards development of a proven resource is a WAY better story to tell. To make things worse, the global economic story is looking a little 'toppy' (and turvy) right now, who knows what the IPO market will look like in 6-8 months time. Still, I hope NR sees this as an excuse to hit the media airwaves today, and can slip in a thing or two about TZ, or even HH. The things investors actually care about.

Agree completely, plus the sprawling businesses they already have in country. I'd be more worried about our ability to sign a Dev plan if it didn't have such major backing. Their involvement is also part of the value that AEX brings, which isn't fully appreciated by some posters on the BB.

That's right, as a true Market Value doesn't exist yet. Hence, trying to do an intrinsic valuation of SOLO is nearly impossible today. Trying to agree inputs and assumptions into a DCF model, which has been mentioned here before, would result in gobbledegook. My point though, was that even using outdated old BV figures, which a new investor would rightfully look at first, we are STILL trading at a huge discount. FWIW, even next week's accounts will need to be taken with a grain of salt until a farmout is signed, which will then anchor a MV of the assets that will result in a meaningful asset revision.
