Wonder if this is a temporary rise due to british bulls which we have seen many times before or is there some real substance to the rise. The sp has been pushed down way too low imo so many just a standard correction...thoughts anyone?

The MMs will play around with the sp so there will be small dips but the trend is strongly up..The MM's have to get shares so they can sell higher hence the mini short term drops but demand is very strong. As the sp builds up, bigger players will get on board as this is now a no brainer...news could also come out any time and i would would expect any news to be very positive with a big impact on the sp. The sp will be many multiples of where we are now in a short time spam imo. I only have a small holding, all my other shares are in dire staits and i would like to buy more if the opportunity arises

The sp was hit hard and dropped very quickly when out of suspension. There are a raft of positives in play now under very rare circumstances. ESL has to be one of the best companies in a position to rise like a phoenix from it's recent lows. With such a brand and all things now in it's favour, it is just a matter of time for ESL to move back up to it's highs. ESL is definitely a big winner in the present carnage

usually get a drop off towards the close of play, but with the very strong momemtum here , i expect monday will see a much bigger open...odds on for some big news soon imo

Rather confusing imo...not sure how a blackout period relates to options...i guess the principle of the rule would apply to options...if that is the case then maybe he means a blackout period since then? Either way there does seem to be have been a real lack of director support for the the sp for a long time

blackout as i understand it means directors cannot legally buy shares in their own company close to results being issued for example or any other news that could be seen as to fundamentaly affect the sp eg takeover......if no director has bought any shares since Newmont got on board, then the blackout period for 18 months does not sound credible....this is as i understand things but i could be wrong....

No i don't have L2, but thanks for clearing things up there SuhailM3471. I notice the sp is pretty much at it's all time low so a good time to buy/ top up it would seem

The sp has been falling for some days now. Today overall more buys than sells yet in the red yet againg. Is this just MMs manipulating the price for their owns needs?

Sp now at close to 50% of the very recent placing......how happy shareholders must be with the management here.....one day maybe the sp will recover but wonder is people will trust the BOD in the future? i still hold at a big loss........:((((((

Good effort Bhargav....typically though Ignatio uses confidentially as a reason why shareholders are pretty much in the dark...clever response which helps protect the BOD from alot of flack...can't win against that...he mentions blackout period...Not sure if there has been a director buy since Newmont got on board over 18 months ago....that said the fact that Newmont are still funding things speaks great volumes imo and despite us being in the dark on many things....clearly those at the top know alot more than us poor suffering shareholders. Years 3 to 4 is when things should really happen, if not before with some randomly good news, as this is when Newmont's payments increase significantly

I agree that Anza if worth mega amounts, but that has not translated into our sp, quite the reverse...it has just fallen continously over the last 18 months or so.....i cant believe the sp is where it is and never in a million years expected it to be at such a derisary level.....hence why i think many have given up posting or have lost a lot of initial enthusasm understandably....i still hold but every day seeing my investment, on paper, lose more and more value if very depressing.....i do think as soon as Newmont pull their finger out then things will recover massively here and so buying at these prices does make good sense imo....but we just have to wait it out and suffer the present very poor sp

Just don't understand why some people post absolute filth.....what is wrong with you...would you speak like that around your family etc???....this is not th school playground...keyboard warriers without doubt....applied filter. Such people serve no purpose here imo...back to sp......still falling on the bid but no ask...MMs may well be trying to get cheap shares as big global worries take centre stage and shareholders get nervous....a bit of good news could see this multiply very quickly imo

Really never expected the sp to be at this level....if anything gold is the place to go to in such times on unceratinty...if anything OMI has just been hammered down as if were an oil stock.....make zero sense to me

At least you tried...fair play...but as I said previously I didn't think they would really say anything of value....but rest assured they still get paid as shareholders are being shafted left, right and centre

I agree with your thoughts Bhargav...the sp is in the 2's and may well stay here for some time. I hope this is pretty much the floor now. And yes years 3 to 4 is when things may well happen as Newmont have to invest $4m in each of those years. So yes your previous assesmment has been spot on... The least the BOD could now is to show their support and buy some shares. But as yet they have done nothing regarding this. At least this could be seen as a positive signal in amongst the present nothingness

If i really thought sending him an email would work then, trust me i would. I honestly do not think he is bothered about shareholders even if he says he is or indicates he is...what i have come to understand from bitter expereince is that many Aim directors are pretty much the same. They talk the talk but in reality they are out for themselves...They will put on a face when speaking to shareholders just for effect. I do admit they can be very clever but sly individuals. For the CEO here why should he be worried about the slow pace of things so long as he gets paid...sadly he will just dish out the same replies saying he can't do anything.....what really annoys me is that Newmont have done virtually nothing work wise since investing in OMI and the sp is less that half of what they paid back then and no doubt many that invested here are in the red....i would have thought any deal would have had some kind of a clause that would allow OMI to get someone else involved in the work if Newmont failed on their part. 1.5 years on and still nothing from Newmont or OMI...A continuing very poor state of affairs with OMI which is just dragging on and on with nothing positive on the horizon.....The project does have a lot of merit hence my investment here but if it is not dug up then it is worthless at this time.

Yet another drop to even more lows.....getting ridiculous.....with markets dropping i though gold projects would be doing better...sadly OMI just falls....very poor performance here....Really seems pointless holding here to be honest....does not look like any good news will come for a long time, by then what will the sp be based on OMI's performance over the last year... Very disappointed that the sp can't even remain at the 3p level..... The CEO really got a bum deal here with Newmont it would seem with hindsight. Much as i would like to just sell up and forget about this very bad investment, if i sell i lose way too much. So i just have to stay the distance and accept how things are here. I guess yaers 3 and 4 is all we can really look forward to. Hope i am wrong and we do get some positive unexpected news to really get things moving here

Sounds like a reasonable prediction....the current price is pretty much at the low point now imo and no doubt people are picking up stock at these low levels to average down. So just a waiting game now...I also expect the sp to move back up to be many multiples of the present sp as things move forward....so now is the time to buy imo

Funding now in place so this should now mean uncertainty has been reduced and things can move forward....I would expect the sp to start moving up now.....anyone any realistic predictions of future share price?
