Sp now just below placing price which is pretty standard behaviour with the sp following a placing....people who are looking to sell their placing shares, bought at 7.5p obviously would be looking for some kind of return over 7.5p. Logically the sp should now be at it's low point so would expect the sp to start rising now imo

It is good that the Q & A was brought out early to address the many questions particularly about the placing. Seems Val now have sufficient funds going forward. Shareholder permission will be needed for further 'headroom' finance. The directors will get bonuses based on increases in shareholder value and individual performance so should be positive for the sp going forward. Also working capital needs will come from subsiduaries and so less reliance on internal funding via placings it would seem. Seems Dr. Dilly is well aware of how the placing has upset many and has given her reasons in quick time to be fair. All in all, things are now back on track imo and now i'm looking forward so the sp rising as positive news gets released

I think the sp is just treading water now and we are just waiting for some news from Dr Dilly to get things moving again. I think we get info via Q & A every month so may have to wait a few weeks for further clarification on things ie the reasons behind the placing etc. Holding and waiting as expecting the sp to start moving back up very soon

Good assessment MaxHSpringer, i agree with your thoughts on the various points you outlined...i guess the reasons for the placing so quickly after the AGM may become clear very soon or at least at the next Q & A...time will tell. Wonder what Dr. Dilly's thoughts are on how the placing was executed and how the sp may have been manipulated by some in the know? Either way come Monday i expect a renewed upswing in the sp going forward

Thanks oldbaldy....yeah 2 dumps on 2 different days from different shares....been a particularly bad week, however i got few extra Val today at a bargain basement price imo. All the signs are here for Val to bring massive rewards to us that hold...expecting a good run up in the sp very soon...

With a very low float of shares even with the placing shares, with more attention on Val there will be much greater demand so should boost the sp very quickly imo...i would be buying more if i had any spare funds. Expecting the recovery to start next week especially with more attention on Val

I think the sp is getting over the shock placing so may take a day or so before restarting the upwards move. The sp does tend to get close to the placing price with many shares initially following a placing but this low sp won't be here for much longer imo. I had another disaster share go bump on me today and i put whatever i could salvage into here. Now Val has funding, news regarding deals etc should come fairly quickly imo...i still feel the need for funds so quickly after the AGM suggests some kind of a deal is in the offing...the sp at this point is very low and bargain basement imo

sold out at a biog loss...never ending crap with aim....i guess the derampers were correct...another one on the scap heap......:(

Also agree. The last couple of RNS's seem to be dotting the i's and crossing the t's to make sure all is in order and suggests a deal is due very soon.

That's ok oldbaldy....investing in aim is like a minefield and sadly we are just pawns for the bigger players to manipulate things so they win and we lose. Trying to hold one's nerve and keeping any aim share is challenging at the best of times. If i had my time again i would not touch aim with a barge pole to be honest, however here we are and despite the nightmare of today, i am just focusing on the products that Val are working on. They have such promise and we just need a bit of good luck from one of them to get the sp rocketing....that's my thinking anyway...

I think your correspondence mirrors what many of us were thinking MaxHSpringer and i too just cannot understand the placing today...clearly it was pre planned before the AGM as it was announced so quickly afterwards. It seems none of us 'small people' including me were non the wiser. No doubt there were some that were in the know and acted accordingly...typical...It would have been nice to get some kind of reason from her but i guess it has to be put in a formal way ie the next Q & A session. This obviously gives her more breathing space to come out with a set answer. The RNS does suggest the money will be used to develop their products though some will be earmaked for day to day running expenses it seems. That said they may have needed to raise funds quickly for some kind of a deal maybe?....time will tell....i will still hold as there is a lot of merit in their products and any positive outcome will boost the sp massively imo...also now with the funds any results should be accelerated imo

Fully understand your thoughts oldbaldy. I've been through the mill with many aim shares and was beginning to think Val was the new coming, however back to earth with a bump. I still think we will get positive results soon on one or several of the products in play. Also with the placing funds i expect news of more deals very soon which will be positive for the sp. So expecting a much higher sp going forward and way higher than now come christmas

The way the sp was moving the warrants could have been exercised very soon and this would make sense to raise extra revenue without the need for a placing unless of course they needed the funds quickly for something?

I guess the good thing is that this time the funds will also be used to advance their products so should mean quicker results. Also the directors will have a bigger holding at 4.2% so a big incentive for them to get cracking going forward. It also does show faith from the Directors, i guess, by buying shares in the placing. I would hazzard a guess that the next RNS will be some kind of a deal with a third party or results from one of the existing products. This would help to negate the events of today hopefully

This was from the RNS dated 1st April 2020 for a conditional placing. The last fund raise from what i can see.

The use of proceeds arising from the Conditional Placing will provide the Company with working capital and will be used to help cover certain outstanding creditors for services which are critical to the operation of the Company.

Agree MaxHSpringer, they bought at a discount at 7.5p so i would expect the sp to move up from here and some may sell but at higher price. I would also speculate the sp would need to be in double figures before they sell and even then no doubt many shares will be held for much longer to benefit from future news. Lets hope we get some real positive news soon after todays kick in the teeth...... :(

Been in aim a long time and still it catches me out....it really is a cesspit with so much manipulation. With all the goodwill that has been develped since Dr. Dilly became CEO and with the openness of the Q & A, it really feels like a kick in the teeth and does make me question the sincerity of the new board. No doubt a few questions will be asked at the next Q & A about the way the BOD wen't about this placing today...well just have to wait for further deveolpments on the products going forward...i'm hoping after today the next RNS will be a positive one about a new deal maybe

Does seem very underhanded imo in the way the placing has been announced however if the results from the existing products are positive, the sp will be a great deal higher than now. I still think the results will be positive and there will be new deals very soon so hopefully this drop in the sp will be short lived. The sp is now around the lows so expecting a quick recovery once the dust has settled

The placing shares will be snapped up imo and the sp will recover quickly imo, just have to accept the way aim works...the placing will help drive things quicker and i do expect the sp to recover quickly with better positive news in the pipeline. Selling now would be unwise as the sp will recover quickly but this RNS has definitely caught many out including me....think i should defer my praise about the present board until product news is released or a new deal is announced
