So we have some warrants exercised as some of us suspected. Great news as it is likely that people may have forward sold to get their warrants. Would explain the lacklustre sp over the last few days. More money in the bank for Val which is very positive to bolster the balance sheet. Looking very positive going forward with big product news so close now

Must admit, BaxtersSoup, i read the recent Q and A but i must have missed the bit re:warrants being exercised any time as below

'The 13p warrants can be exercised by the warrant holders at any time until either they expire (after 12months); or the Company uses the “use or lose” accelerator feature of the warrant conditions, which is only possible after the share price closes above 15p for five consecutive days'

This being the case so warrants can be exercised any time and so i wonder how many have been exercised and will Val let us know when they have been exercised. I guess if some warrants have been exercised it is fair to assume some will have been sold at prices above 13p and would maybe explain some sells and the sp just treading water at the moment?

13p warrants have not been issued yet, need the sp to remain at 15p or above for 5 consecutive days before they are triggered as i understand....just seems the sp is treading water till big news. Really don't understand who would be selling either though with big news so close. Volume is low so just a waiting game imo. Producet news could come any time now

Not sure if the MMs could collect many shares if they try to drop it like SNG, big news is getting very close and could come anytime so does not make sense for people to sell at these levels now, they could have sold from 17p or lower as the sp fell over the last few days if they wanted to...a drop in the sp from present levels would lead to way too much demand to buy in so seems rather counter productive imo...

The sp has had several red days falling from around 17p to 13p approx. The warrants are priced at 13p so really the floor is at this level imo, also volume has fallen so maybe we are at an equilibrium between buyers and sellers?....Just really surprises me that the sp is still at such a low level relative to its peers and with all the big news due very soon. I do expect the sp to move back up all of a sudden however this is in the hands on the MMs as they control things here, however a product news RNS could drop anytime and so the sp will go crazy at that point irrespective of MM games imo

Results from Val201 due any time from now till the end of September, quote 'the project remains on track to release headline results within Q3 2020'. So they could even be released tomorrow hypothetically. So many detailed posts this weekend with alot of positive analysis. Very good results expected imo so i'm holding and just waiting. No doubt the sp will be moving upwards in anticipation of the results. No doubt many will miss out by sitting on the sidelines. Val looking very strong and other project news could also come anytime.

Sounds very promising Grace83 and nice to see your overview of Val201 from a biologist's perspective. With the recent director buy and the big positive focus now from the BOD, things are looking very good imo. With headline results due withing Q3 i am really surprised that the sp is still at these very low levels. Either way the omens are positive and news could be realesed any time...not one to be out of imo

So clearly you are not positive about Val, why hang around on this board. Are you shorting or looking for a lower entry antofelli?....either way every share will have it's naysayers...for what it is worth i think Val has a very bright future with all the positive changes made...each to their own

Nothing is ever guaranteed with aim shares however the odds are are very much in favour of positive product news being released imo....product news can be released anytime so I would rather be holding shares now rather than trying to predict when it will be released...with several products in play, there is alot of news imminent imo. Also news of other collaborations could come any time. Just better to hold as Val has become a much better company than just a few months ago.

Looking at the SNG chart, it was pretty much below 10p for a while then from Feb this year it started moving upwards, though fluctuating from this time to end up at 36.5p on the day, 17th July, before the big spike up to over £2. By comparison, Val has moved up from below 4p around 7th April to the present sp of just below 14p. If SNG can jump 5 fold, with more shares in circulation i hasten to add, by having positive product news then so can Val. The thing is by looking how the SNG sp reacted, it can be used as a proxy to try and predict what will happen to Val. So if anything it makes sense to get into Val imo before product news is released as trying to jump in when the news is released will be too late imo

Val too good to be in the red imo oldbaldy...a couple or so of red days allows people to try and day trade ie sell high and try and buy lower, which is very risky with Val imo as too easy to get wrong footed. I guess a couple of red days also allows the froth to disappear and creates a strong floor to launch from for higher gains. Either way i dont think people want to be out of Val for too long as such big news is getting so close now.

So the warrants could have been exercised at 13p if conditions met but the sp fell to around this level anyway so just wondering if those that sold some shares in order to benefit from the warrants ended up buying when the sp fell to around this level on the open market...would make sense imo. Either way the sp seems much stronger now and we are blue as i type. I think the buyers are coming back...Val way too good to miss out on imo

Expecting the sp to move back up very soon...some have sold but are looking to get back in...very tricky as the sp is likely to reverse back to the upside very soon imo...Val has many positives now so will be back to blue

I think the sp will break loose from the 15p level very soon, irrespective of the warrant issue. The odds of positive news is high imo so as we get closer and closer to results, i think the demand to buy and hold Val will increase hence the sp will be on an uptrend imo

Thought the sp would have stayed above 15p today, then again this is aim and it can easily wrong foot you. We did not get 5 consecutive days for the warrants to be taken up as yet so back to waiting 5 more consecutive days. That said i still am very confident of positive results regarding the various drugs in play. All the actions by the new BOD suggest a very positive outcome imo. It really is just a waiting game now imo. In the mean time there will always be sellers at various levels so there will always be some red days, however to get the really big gains you have to be in it when the news lands with positive results. After a couple or so of red days, i expect the upwards trend in the sp to re commence

Makes sense if people can sell at a higher price to get warrant shares at 13p....assuming sp stays at 15p for 5 consecutive days...a couple of red days creates a stronger floor for the sp to move strongly up from....the sp is way undervalued so will just keep hold of my shares and await product news....

Solid and clear RNS. The warrant exercise was odds on to happen and good clear info about the various projects in play. The MMs have dropped the price to gather shares imo and i expect a flurry of buys at this low price. Would definitely be buying more if i had the spare funds. The sp should correct back up very quickly imo. All looking good for very positive product news release very soon so expecting the sp to be way higher over the coming days

So their holding has reduced and the sp has still been increasing. This is very bullish. Seems Val is getting stronger day by day. Big news getting ever closer

Always good when you can save money from the tax man, i'm no expert, oldbaldy, but as Minnissage has posted and with the same broker i believe they will sell your existing shares for a nominal fee and re purchase them in your isa. You may be liable for the capital gains tax on the original shares however i believe the tax free allowance for the present financial year is £12,300. Hope that helps. I have a feeling the sp is going to move in a big way from next week onwards so makes sense to have them all in a tax free isa
