Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Agreed. + Have been keeping an eye on water levels at three stations as they are down on previous year. Would like to see maximum shipments short term as numbers could come under threat over the dry season.
Shall remain with PTAL and i3E . . .. JSE is off-limits [FPSO risks final journey to Singapore scrapyard. I used to inspect tanks in Duncan Dock for a spell with a penknife.]
Perhaps you are right although the pari passu entry has been treated differently this time around. Anyway I hope resolution to the CHAR story is a big improvement on my conviction of smelling hydrocarbons off Swakopmund/Walvis/KaapKruis years ago . . . a very long wait.

a) having never been to Peru I'll let Manolo/Douglas decide on the best way forward. Monkeying around with share splits, etc is merely window dressing;
b) watching upstream levels at Pucallpa is paramount. [Thanks for that link] Getting a bit threatening at present, courtesy of El Niño and La Niña. Dams/rivers farther south, however, on southern continents are brimful. Jetstream effects never reach that far north;

c) does anyone have an update on #8 and #192 troubles?;
d) presumably we still enjoy a ~$5 premium on Bretaña product

"Regionally, utilizing prospective exploration ground held by the Company within the Lupa Goldfield". [A map outlining our Songwe licences over 959 sq km would be welcomed.][I haven't been through Mbeya for a long time but would like to add the following]
a) the greater Songwe district has extensive mineralisation;
b) there is an untested exploration licence ~10 km north of the company's Luika dam;
c) Porcupine South seems to have come to a halt. HDVs taking ore to NLGM will damage the highway and will require permanent grader use on the road either side of Saza;
d) keenly awaiting results on the deeper Elizabeth Hill probes;
e) will be interested to learn if the more rugged terrain towards BaraBara is a deterrent to further exploration in Rukwa/Songwe. Otherwise I rate the region as being equivalent to the Karoo Craton in the SA highveld.

Keep an eye on this fella. Whereas I have bought PTAL on geological Vivian characteristics and CHAR on dominant Anchois features AA is using his very special skills on both.
Looking around . . . always advisable to check the scene
a) HUM results' reaction
b) HOC hedging plan encourages although Au spot price barely confirms the trend
"During the quarter, the Company executed several precious metal hedges for production from Brazil
o 50,000oz of gold hedged for 2025 at $2,117 per ounce
o 50,000oz of gold hedged for 2026 at $2,167 per ounce
o 50,000oz of gold hedged for 2027 at $2,206 per ounce
These were in addition to the previous announced hedges:
o 29,250 ounces of gold hedged for the remainder of 2023 at $2,047 per ounce in Peru
o 27,600 ounces of gold hedged between March and December 2024 at $2,100 per ounce in Brazil".

Keeping an eye on what is going on elsewhere. The Nyangaza-Sotto exploration hardly compares favourably with any of the Shanta projects . . . and underlines how important Singida has turned out to be. Even more so are the grades up north at Bushi/Isulu and Ramula.
SP performance remains a puzzle. Perhaps further examination is needed on the country's mining policy in Dodoma and controlling percentages.
The "resettlement" angle in WK holds the key to early startup.
@ 12:20 Seems to be a slice of misinformation when related to the recent RNSs. I am treating it as such and proceeding with add-on @ 14p to take effect on 26/07.
Perhaps you can comment further on your assessment.
Noted and very useful as I had only been checking Iquitos levels. The other stations complement the story. Looking forward to next development(s). Not tampering with the PTAL stake.
Have gone walkabout with my pick-hammer around Lihranda/Kakamega, the Great Dyke, Kabompo Dome, etc where I have some first-hand knowledge. Also I understand big strides will be made around Anchois, Morocco.
O/T - As Lavrov and BRICS have polluted an old favourite site at Oudekraal wish I had resettled at Kamloops, Rockies.
Here's hoping Eric and Yuri have access to the BRGM records (34 holes) as I believe Bombo / Bumbo has similar characteristics to Palaborwa which was reinvigorated via Chinese capital. However, Ramula will have to be given priority.

(a) Interesting combos on those late trades adding up to round numbers. Demonstrably, the musical chairs scenario is being stage managed
(b) "resettlement" - Looks as though the exercise is already well under way. The country has previously completed more than one scheme. If SHG is not (over)burdened with local community welfare a Ramula pit could almost certainly be accomplished single-handedly, i.e. via revenues
(c) Anyone who spends as much time as EZ at altitude will suffer dry coughs. (Some of us have been there.) Okay, I accept Eric - currently in Canada - can not be persuaded to extend his tenure.

I understand Beatriz Fung (CEO) and Luis Rosell (Pres) are well acquainted with Manolo. Peru being what it is may regard any Block 8 / pipeline / PTAL "connections" as a conflict of interests thereby stalling a workover deal.

Would be interesting to get a true perspective on current ownership.

Twenty workovers offered by PTAL. Would anyone like to give their views? Is Manolo about to add another string to his bow within days? Are Block 8 sites medium barrel producers?
Donder en bliksem, I have divided my interests equally between PTAL and i3E although adding £3k pa permitted allowance to my son's holding. Both companies are now on a 5 to 8-year holding policy.
I'd like to believe the Vivian reservoir (the formation extends into Colombia) insofar as Block #95 is concerned still has a few more surprises . . . especially on the southeastern flank extension. And will Block 8 now supersede 107?
