Aston - Alastair Smith founded Avacta and that can't be disputed. Quite how he persuaded William Bachovchin of Tuft's University to grant him exclusivity to Tuft's FAP patent we'll probably never know but I'm guessing it was an interest in AS's Leeds University's Affimers. WB did suggest that a future generation of FAP driven pre|CISION® might benefit from those Affimers.

I had to laugh. It's been more than four and a half years since the first patient dosed, in Phase1.......RNS on eleventh of August, 2021.

Perky because it's Wednesday and traders are nervous about missing out on a Thursday RNS. And they are right to be......CC has been in the US for a couple of weeks (IMO) so there is probably a good chance of a Board meeting this week. My money is on them discussing some sort of JV/Partnership that leads to a Nasdaq listing under the AVCT name, and that will have to be announced sooner rather than later because of the interims.

But what do you or I know?

I'm not sure what Avacta's CFO would be discussing with Novartis's CFO (for example) that hadn't already been decided by Avacta's CEO and Board. Strategy is not Brian's job......especially this Brian. His job is tidying up the financial loose ends created by a board decision. And to do that doesn't require his presence at an expensive jolly. Unless he's there to explain to the other bean counters how a Nasdaq trip is going to work. But that would leak out.

Successful talks? Who knows? Perhaps we should ask Yulii Bogatyrenko, or Richard Hughes, perhaps Simon Bennett? I'm a bit surprised the bean counter was in Boston and not Business Development. We do have a couple of them.

Until proven otherwise I think I'll go with an optimistic slant and glass half full. Especially if the younger generation of Iranians can get rid of all ancient T-Rex dinosaurs eating their country.

It's probably eye-wateringly expensive ...... especially compared to pre|CISION®.

I take your point White Rose but FW's point is very, very relevant and worth repeating. The FDA staff are real experts and what they see in pre|CISION genuinely excites them....to the point where they are actively encouraging Avacta's IND application.
