RE: News due soon27 Jul 2015 20:49
Unless there is some spectacular news the big players will not buy in at these prices . Just the skimmers pop in, from time to time. Provided it is supported by production, and prospects, then I think we will see a consolidation pretty soon. An average consolidation from my own observations, elsewhere, seems to be between 40-to-60 shares equal one new share. So assuming that one is holding 20000 shares . You could end up with 500.(or less) Of course they will still be worth the same as when you held 20,000. But, I would think that most people bought in, in here, at 5 to 10p, above the current sp (Some of my older ones are 24p above current sp). Therein lays the problem, if 20,000 shares go up 2p , you are looking at £400. If 500 shares go up 2p you are looking at £10.Some conventual wisdom I have read is that when faced with a consolidation, then one should buy huge amounts at the lower price before consolidation...Conventional wisdom, however, does not say where one gets the money from to do this ! What we really need is a buy out, so that we can cash in before it becomes final !
