The government did not run down North Sea Oil, the price of oil collapsed on the markets which meant deep sea Brent was very expensive compared to land-based . Moreover, the government do not sell or drill for oil that is up to commercial interests . The questions they put and the fears they express are so very childish and the North Lincs elected this bunch of dummies onto their council. No wonder Lincs is one of the poorer counties of England

Although I have some shares in UJO which I regard as a long term investment. They may get a hike once the expected appeal decision is announced for EDR in November, but one has to be realistic the hike cannot hold for long because their share of Wressle is 50 bpd so the SP rise will be emotional and not underpinned by profit. They have to do a lot better than that . According to what I have read elsewhere to become profitable (UKOG requirement of Broadford Bridge) needs 700-1000 brlpd . Sorry not de-ramping but stating the obvious. IMO this is a two years hence share , or earlier if they are subject to a TO !

It is bound to rise as it gets closer to the verdict of their appeal approaches( I think that is Nov 14th ? ) It will drag up UJO with it, but heavens knows why because on the daily figures of oil recovery from Wresstle - which could be upgraded of course) UJO stands to gain just 50 barrels of oil per day . Of course they can frack using compressed CO2, which is ideal because you require no settlement pond and gas does not ironise hence no radioactive content brought back to the surface , One Canadian firm reported that fracking with CO2 bought more gas to the surface because the delivery of the fracking medium was hotter than water. It seems to more to do with tradition and knowhow is the reason why they are not all fracking with CO2

If somebody is occupying something that does not belong to them, and refuses to move, Trespass should be a civil offence not a private matter . If somebody is caught shop-lifting in a super market, even if only a tin of beans, then the law would arrive. Yet, the cost to a farmer, or or landlord who stands to lose (especially landlords) thousands, and then clean up fees, afterwards, is regarded as something between the owner and the trespasser . I can't see anything that would warrant this rising to 1p in the near future. You can pick up a million at present for around £300 and that equates to them being worth £10,000.....Where is all that kind of money supposed to come from and where is the profit in its investments to underpin such a dramatic rise in its SP.

Despite the possibility of UK production being in the doldrums, this share has held up better than most in the same situation. To my way of thinking there is every confidence, I think in November, maybe late October we will see a gradual rise in expectation of a decision, and if that goes (as would be expected) for it to go in favour of EDR, then profit is to be made :))

They over priced it when they consolidated, it was never worth 75P and the market is telling them so.

Sor far it seems to be the fringes of society, and a few unread adults. With a splattering of hitch-hikers hoping to get a boost up in society by their publicly support against fracking. If you are old enough to remember the old CND marches of the past and the Swampies etc....Where did they all go ? I can tell you, they grew up, became responsible citizens and had 2.2 kids, they have nearly, if not all, paid off their mortgage and they are looking forward to the next visit of their grandchildren. They cringe at what they used to get up to as adolescents. Once fracking get underway the present demonstrators against it will come to accept it and turn their attention to other non-productive demonstrations, my bet it it will be either Brexit, or HS2

Is, one idea being that OPEC have failed to rig the price of oil, mainly because there are too many countries in the association, so they are picking on the weaker ones, to bring the rest into line for fear that they may be next ? Is perhaps there a military/strategic advantage in Saudi being able to control Qatar ? Is is perhaps something to do with Iran's nuclear facilities and Qatar is being threatened as a bait for Iran to defend it, in turn to produce a reason to go to war with Iran and to bring the West in overtly because America have a mutual defence treaty with Saudi. Exactly and Labour are aware that the DUP can hardly vote for Fracking in the UK, if it is banned in Northern Ireland. The spin doctors in the Labour and Libdem and the SNP may well be homing in on this, because here is a way to prevent DUP from voting with the Conservatives . If the other parties can defeat the Conservatives, as they would do on this subject, then they can slap down a motion of 'no confidence, in Her Majesty's Government'. Win that and they will have forced another general election !

As you know the SNP and the Scottish government are not the same thing. The Scottish government imposed a moratorium on fracking and that has yet to be repealed, but INEOS is making a mockery of the SNP because they are having to import Shale gas from America, so the pressure is on the SNP. The SNP MPs the House of Commons are a different kettle of fish, they inherently hate the Tories and also know that Corbyn will be a pushover, for Scotland, compared to TM. They will vote strategically against the Tories, regardless
