The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Vlad just burst the short term gas price bubble promising Europe more supply, price dropped from 400 per therm to 275. Still was 60 in Feb. Industry feedback I got today is that fuel is expected to rise for another 18 months yet, but with less volatility
I m guessing they will appeal kicking any decision on being more aggressive into the long grass. Shares in any company that produces CO2 and that is all of them will now be at threat, airlines, minerals, transport, food production, manufacturing etc etc
I averaged down from £1.24 to 22p before the dilution but still need to hit 600+ to break even, but at least my losses reduce each week as confidence in the tourism market increases ( which is strange for a business that is predominantly insurance)
I currently have 66k shares in Saga and reading the offer even buying at price and 5 for 9 this appears really bad, especially as am in at 44p. Could someone explain it to me like I am a 2 year old ( which in this case I appear to have regressed to)
Hi Static, did some research on their insurance business which looks strong and feel the business is undervalued, although everything is. I felt it had the ability to get to 30p ish if the restrictions started to be removed and my intention was to get my average under this then sell. Lots of opportunity in other companies out there but not in an ‘all in’ way more in a spread it around a bit way
If it makes you feel any better I had these at £1.34, bought a load at 16p so down to 42p, if these drop below 20 again will try and average down further. Did this with Carrillion though
The world is switching back on slowly, demand coming back, long road I think but direction of travel right for once
I had read that several countries were taking the opportunity to increase their strategic reserve at the low prices, clearly though, nowhere near enough
I have done well via dividends for years and bought and sold some at 870 - 1400 so not all bad. My other shares are in SAGA ! I am thinking of creating a reverse consultancy where people pay me large sums of money to tell them what I am contemplating next so they avoid them.
Opinion button does not have an option for way i m feeling. Hang on in there and wait for the rise, many months away. Tomorrow I fear will be a bad day for BP and RDSB. I am in for an average of 22 so looooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnng way for me and if this falls to 10 or below I will be putting everything I have in to get that average down
If it makes you feel any better had a load at 1.34!, bought some when it went down to 14p so averaging 44p now, if it drops to 14.5 - 15 again I will try to get that down further. The issue for me is how long before the cruise business gets up and running again. Looking at the news, seems vaccine the only true way out of this b nightmare with talk of several waves to come
I have a lot at an average of 2200, thinking of adding more to lower average price
Can we keep the threads to investing please. I am not a fan of Boris and no doubt they have made mistakes, and will make more. But, it is what it is and we need to get behind them all for now, people are dying and we are name calling.
I am getting tanked on my shares as others with similar lack of skill also are, do we think the recession coming out the other end of this will be quicker to see green shoots as a result of pent up demand?

So anyone quoting 10 dollars a barrel on here want to share how much they have put into shorting the stock?, surely that is the smart move if you are confident of this. Or, are you just pushing volatility as this makes money for the people that crashed the market last time.
Looking at all of the doomsday feedback on here, surprised that the "people in the know" are not shorting the stock, words are cheap
Apparently they are so reliant on the dollar that they waited to am usa time
Google showing 1,513 share price based on sales after close
Article suggesting gsk looking to buy a part of Merk and thus will not have the cash to fund divi. Sold my azn today to use cash for this at 1,423 here's hoping it returns more than the divi
