Crocqman "To add, if there was no retail element to this raise, then we may well have seen some uplift on this news"
It is great to see that small shareholders have been looked after by CUSN. It is so easy for small shareholders to be overlooked and lose value in placings as has been seenelsewhere in the past - for instance when Cornish Lithium raised funds with UKIB/Techmet and ERG and offered two very different deals.to the big boys and to the small investors. In this case we have one deal, one price and two supportive large investors who are prepared to be scaled back to a limited extent to enable small shareholders to come in at the discounted price.
Given the dire market conditions, the small discount, and the amount raised , Don Turvey and his team should be wholeheartedly congratulated for bringing this off. With HMG now on board - getting the debt finance should be straightforward and we look set for a positive investment decision and then production resumption.
It is been the expectation that finance would be needed which has kept this share price way below a reasonable valuation, and now that the finance AND HMG backing is there I would expect the sp to move towards broker's valuations.
