I just tried a top up, and HL have "technical errors" preventing me! Personally, Im beginning to think it is more the brokers and mm's affecting this more than all the naresayers…. as this is not the first time HL has created a problem for me to buy at the low point or indeed sell at a high point!

Are these boards just feeding them sentiment and thus they react accordingly ? As sometimes, I do wonder if lse is worth it ???

Isnt anyone a little curious, why such a set amount of shares.... 66 666 666, a Platt isn't just for Christmas, it is for life....

Maybe even a certain person waiting in the wings, for a response is pushing the issue, as someone posted earlier to me, what would stop an interested party, from buying in at these low rates and taking a position to force the BoD's hand... low cash reserves, no closed period, buy some now and get on board or else... ? imo

Maybe the Platt theory that has been bandied about, is getting impatient ? Maybe an offer has been improved and others want it? Who knows, but in stead of my two front teeth, I would rather have a Platt takeover at say $1 than another year of smoke mirrors and promises of cake tomorrow!

It reached 79p on nothing, BoD stated instantly and adamantly, they knew of no reason why sp was rising faster than Georges temperature at the thought of a low bid lol... so why not a dollar a share $600 mil nice round figure?
