So this statement is bothering me:
"Tullow will provide a further update once the transaction has closed and funds have been received."

Why on earth would that be bothering you? It's just saying that once they have concluded the deal and got the money in the bank they will inform the market.

I have only just found this forum. Hence delay in posting.
I had been looking at Tullow and ITV sp for a while. To be honest it was a gamble to pick Tullow but the news in the days before I bought was very positive so I bought. I have no hidden agenda and I am not being disrespectful here but am enjoying the analysis and discussion

The shorters control this share completely and have and will make fortunes from it. No pension funds or institutions will invest until debt is reduced and major oil revenue is confirmed

TimmyG in order for short positions to close they need to buy back the shares and repay the broker.....this will be a bumpy ride and yes there will be profit takers along the way....and folk de-risking positions....in order to facilitate this there has to be sellers and MM's games.....happened with AML and its a gradual and somewhat tedious process of peaks and troughs .....nothing goes up in a straight line, but this will also rise in anticipation of monies hitting TLW's bank account along with shorts closing IMO

This is similar to AML- Aston Martin situation at bottom.....only Tullow has a lot better chances of bouncing back.....made very good money from that trade

Shorts closing out before the asset sale money hits the bank account IMO.....and I bet a few II's will go long for that too

Anyone who buys shares in this DOG of a company will be left holding the baby long after the organised pump and dump crew have sold their placing shares....and you will be left holding the baby ;o)
