The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Too true climate change is a tool for the global elite to bolster the economy & line their pockets its bollox. Look at the car industry first its go diesel then go petrol then its go hybrid now its electric, what a load of shit. Many gullible, with more money than sense listen to and act on advice from the so called experts when in reality their actions are blowing their carbon footprints out of the water. Cars DEPRECIATE at an alarming rate & there's a reason for that.. It keeps the economy ticking over. IF THE ESTABLISHMENT GAVE A CRAP ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT THEY WOULD make it illegal to sell a car before say 7 years of ownership or until nett depreciation was say 20% whichever came first.
They could also just slaughter all animals that contain beef pork or sheep. What the point in messing about?
I was a vegan for 20yrs before it was popular but I got rickets & me cock fell off. These environmentalists are even more tedious than ex smokers in the 1980's. Talking of dates I seem to recall the population of London was only 40,000 in the mid 1500's which is a lot less than 13% of what it is now, which is obvious really cos most of the EU Labour started pilling in when Starbucks & Pret opened up in the 1950's. If the English could have made a half decent cup of coffee we probably wouldn't be where are today. Anyway do they have cars in Scotland? Why can't the Jocks make the coffee in London? If there coffees owt like their beer we're probably better off leaving it to the poles & the frogs tbf.
I'd forgot they struggled through clearing.
Despite his heriditary links with Wales isn't it refreshing that although he would have grave concerns, he wouldn't stand in the way of any of his kids coming out as Scottish. It's a love fest innit!
It's not about who's the best man for the job though is it? It's about who's going to get us out of Europe. Bozzas committed to Oct, while Hunts wants more of what May's concocted over the past 3 yrs. Only one winner for me.
Dunt matter how much tax u pay in Scotland you'll always be on benefits eh BB? Was in the Bell Sunday lunch for Jazz, lovely session.
Snige, your herd mentality is fantastic provided its not bounding towards the cliff edge innit?
PC, it's another shoot out between leave or remain, if your not Boris your not Tory. I can't understand how all the other candidates don't recognise this why are they phukking around regurgitating May's BS. Its Boris way or the highway EU!
That's bollox though Levis, she didn't say that did she LTI, she was capitalist bashing now she's adapting her stance. Tbf at least it demonstrates she's a more sophisticated transmit & receive model. MRS NC, listen more, talk less.
She will never understand you have to incentivise talent Levis, she's from a piece work background.
Good retort scottie tbf.
For some bizarre reason you have this notion that I live in a hedge & am a busker or something similar. What do u think I'm worth just out of interest?
Free prescriptions are only a benefit if you can see a doctor, we've got no chance down here. Trump and Nigel gonna sort that though.
Higher Taxes in Scotland are a given cos of its low population density very expensive place to run. Even the least populated area of England would have at least 3x more people for the same area. Not economically viable I'd fk it off personally, give it to the Alaskans they could make it work.
Its never been a better time to be in work, 12k personal allowance before your taxed a penny! You can earn 40k & only pay 20% tax now. If more phukkers tried working a bit more & claiming a bit less benefits we might be able to raise the tax free allowance to 15k. Certainly sounds better than standing in a shitty paddy field.
The English & Welsh pay for their free prescriptions I wouldn't mind but they all wear specs & are fat LTI.
Wealth is distributed better to people who work in a capitalist economy which is why it will never be popular in places like Scotland. They're all a bit tight & risk averse up there unall which aren't great ingredients for a successful capitalist economy either.
They've recently given all the directors retractable pencils to cut down on time spent sharpening & they've got them knobbly rubber finger thingies that help them count the money a bit quicker. That way they have the time to do their own transfers, or in the case of AHO he just includes share certificates in birthday cards to friends & family.
A long power cut on the eve of the next GE is whats required to stop the remaining 98% of scots from charging their mobility scooters & getting to the polling stations.
I know what your saying BJ u old dog u. I quite fancy that Hilary Benn.
I find it possible to invisage how the gig economy can't do anything but boost productivity Snige, it is precisely why it was established to target staff hours to periods where businesses are at their busiest. The rise in popularity self employment also leads to increased productivity as business owners are able to be much sharper and versatile than larger companies.
JR it costs junior doctors 250k to get qualified (my lads GF is a jnr) in the UK, & about £250.00 in most 2nd world countries where the NHS imports them by the container load. British junior doctors are given no incentives to remain in the UK from what I can see.
