Bigbad, I'm not sure what the margins are, but I'm hoping we start to get sales&rev updates regularly, starting soon. I appreciate your caution - always important to protect capital. But we've seen the pandemic has been a gamechanger for biotech companies. MHC are trying to fill what looks to be a new niche in the market. As they say "the next exciting stage of our growth and evolution as we seek to become the UK's leading business-to-consumer testing business." If they can sign agreements with Amazon, Tesco, maybe some airports, and lift their name recognition, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, that they are obviously trying to seize. NCYT have done so. Translating that into a longer term business will be a big challenge. But for now, let them focus on getting established.

I hope that now we have signed an agreement with Boots, we might get noticed and mentioned by a rather better class of share tipster than BMD and Winnifrith. With all due respect to those gents of course, but maybe Investors Chronicle, Midas, newspapers, etc. Hopefully bringing with them a rather better class of investor too, than the Twitter pump and dumpers associated with Tom and Dan.

Watching the traders selling on news today reminds me of when I sold out of NCYT at around £3.

Thete was a fair bit of expectation priced in kopf. Don't forget, this is just one contract. And with Boots. Should give the other companies they are negotiating with very strong reassurance due diligence wise, and hopefully this will open the flood gates for more in short order, which should see us heading comfortably to 15-20p

I dislike getting spam mail through my letter box. I dislike getting spam phone calls and e-mails. And I dislike BBs getting overwhelmed by obsessive, relentlessly negative spam posts by posters who seem to be exhibiting some mental health issues with their obsessiveness.

Maestro, if you just want childish tit for tat arguments, can I recommend twitter. Just say something derogatory to a politician you personally don't like, and watch the howling banshees come shrieking out of the woodwork. It's far more amusing that sterile repetitive arguments about stale details on here.

Slift, it's easy to click on someone's name and see their stats. Hardly stalking, old boy. That would be, oh I don't know, absolutely bombarding a BB where I'm not invested with relentless negatives. Something I just can't be bothered to do. Yeah, I've got an agenda. To make some money. The Board kitchen sinked this, and said they'd closed off the downside. Shorts have reduced, bond price recovered, oil price strengthened, water cut looks to be under control, so this looks like a decent punt to me.

Slift sees such better opportunities elsewhere that he's posted on the HUR BB 151 times in the last 30 days. Or the last 19 active trading days, given the long bank holiday we've had in the last 30 days. I checked his account to see if he posts similarly on the thousands of other shares which he also deems as not a "much better opportunity". Strangely, no, it's HUR that slift is obsessing over.

No one likes losing money slift, but every trader loses now and again. Take it on the chin, learn from your mistakes, and move on. I'd say 'man up', but I don't think that's permitted any more.

Maestro1, I mean this in all seriousness. Over the last 30 days you've posted 451 times on this GDR board alone. On average 15 posts a day, every day. And with the very long Easter bank holiday there have only been 19 active trading days in that time.

Honestly, take a step back. Take a deep breathe. Try and calm down. Ask yourself why this obsession. It's not good for you, buddy, and help is available. You only have to ask. There's no shame in it. Or in losing money on a trade. Anyone who says they haven't is a liar, and God knows I've had some catastrophic losses myself.

Guy, do you really think BC just signed up GDR without any cognisance of how long the FDA process may take? In late January, so only two months ago?

Maybe the maestro of malice does raise valid points, but is it really credible that an anonymous Bulletin Board poster who seems obsessed with talking GDR down has spotted some drawbacks which BC overlooked when they were doing their due diligence? It doesn't seem remotely credible to me.

If they announce a contract this week it should be more than 6p. Maybe a lot more, depending on the contract. Testing has a very long way to run yet, and MHC still has a relatively small market cap.

The share price halving from here would be down to 36p. It didn't even get that low during the dogs days of the winter. You are forgetting what has happened to turn this around since then. I personally think now is a good entry point, certainly not an exit point.

On the one hand I agree that the need for a few more days to finalise a report 6 months in the making (and which is essentially an internal informational analysis) is preposterous, as is releasing a RNS that late - I didn't think you could put one out that late). But on the other, I just don't believe it's because a deal is in the offing - sorry planted, would be great if you're right - I just honestly think it's an board without a grip on basic management competence now. It's lucky they got hold of a company that continues to produce a very credible quantity of oil during an oil price resurgance. It's what they appear to be doing with the company that is now becoming a disgrace. Can they redeem themselves?

Is this bounce all down to Maestro piling in heavily?

Simultaneously unbelievable and yet not at all unexpected. They can't even keep to their own self-imposed deadlines. It doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the ability of the Board to manage a business. Maybe they should consider a career in politics or the civil service, where gross incompetence is rewarded.

CapnSwag, they'll only sneak it out just before Easter if its good. If bad, their preferred modus operandi seems to be a strong urge to trumpet that from the rooftops. Pushing this right to the wire isa little peculiar though.
