Thanks SQ. i couldn't quite remember the geography. I agree, it's a valid point that the first five strikes in the Morocco campaign could simply have been replacing depletion of current wells. A comprehensive reserves update would be welcome, broken down over all the strikes. But I can understand that they'd want to finish the campaign before doing this. These last two strikes look like we can comfortably ramp up production, as PW says in the RNS.

Wow, fantastic news. They've opened Lalla Minoula up as a new province. Am I right in thinking its really close to the new industrial zone Morocco is developing? What a campaign this has been. Not to mention the strikes in Egypt too. I really don't know why this isn't much closer to �1 already. Surely we've had more success with the drill bit than any other AIM O&G co over the last year. But when all these are hooked up and in production (which will not take long) the cash will be flooding in. I just don't see how the market can ignore that.

I'd advise avoiding BBs then, the same old tosh about MMs gets trotted out routinely. Better for the blood pressure to avoid things that irritate, and BBs are hardly vital for trading.

Thanks Desert Star. I should have been clearer that SDX were only interesed in Naftogaz's Egyptian assets, not the whole company. That would be maybe a little ambitious, as WizardTaffy rightly deduced.

Of course I understand direct market access sankey. Does it accurately predict what a share price will do in the future? No. Therefore it is a vanity accessory to make you feel like you are a professional trader. Spinning bullshit conspiracy theories on BBs is just a bit of fun to while away the time and relieve the tedium of watching the price non-stop while the market is open. Which is what the actual professionals do. The practise of putting on a wide spread and transacting only on one side of the mid price is an old game. But if you watch a live feed its easy to see what is going on. Live trade prices are all that really matter for quick trades. ATB.

In the vox interview after Ibn Yunis came in, PW explicitly said he wanted to make an acquisition this year. Goldieshotz has identifed which one is most likely, is it Naftogaz? If a deal is done I very much hope its later in the year when we have our recent finds on production, and our share price reflects that. PW's stated aim is to build SDX into a 30k boepd company, then sell. It looks increasingly likely that we'll be able to get to 8-9k this year organically. If we can build that up further with a good acquisition I'm okay with that. So long as PW makes sure the deals add value, and isn't overpaying in a dash for growth. Progress so far gives me confidence, but it's important not to get too carried away when things are going well.

Big buying this morning, possibly Beetham, sparked a bit of a frenzy, so Yost had to unleash the bots, and call in some favours from their MM mates to put a wide spread on and conceal actual sells/buys ratio, to keep a lid on the price. Not sure this indicates news quite yet, it feels more like Yost slowly unwinding their position. Reported sells/buys almost exactly match at the close. Clever work that.

Up 7% on the day. Very ominous. Lol

Not so quiet. Big volume. Someone buying 100k blocks. Looks like Yost have their bots busy, selling small packets, trying to keep the price down. I think Wily is right and they are trying yo close out their short now. Let's face it, they've made good money, why risk it?
