I'm similarly puzzled Wizard. Are they expecting bad news at the AGM? The frst quarter results are due soon, how can they not be good news with whats happened to the oil price this year? Maybe its just people who bought in on the rise, who neither know nor care anything about the comany, who are now bailing because its stalled. I think we are going to leg up again very soon, so I find it baffling. Bought a few more myself today, but only a few. Reserves are low, and my weighting here is a bit ridiculous.

More importantly, it looks like we're going to top Mr Calm's buy in price. Guess he's day trading on margin, if he had to sell up so quick.

Spread is too big to make this a good day trade. Remember what Mike Staten said "Any deal in this sector is done on substantial size and fees payable would likely be multiples of Mkt cap!". And he likes it so much he bought the company! Ok, not the whole thing, but enough to have to file a TR1.

Okay Eddie. We get that you don't like BMD and deramp every one of his tips. Care to share why? AST maybe, and you stayed too long?

It all depends on what the news says, when it lands. There have been rumours of a �50m deal. If something like that is announced, then 10p has got to be on the cards. If smaller, then obviously less. If multiple deals, then who knows?

Mike is listed in the prospectus, and works as head of trading at Darwin Strategic. ALGW's NED is Andrew Dennan, who is head of investments at Darwin. I don't honestly think you can use the SOU market cap as a benchmark. Although the last year was gruelling here, I hope it means that we achieve steady progress, and consolidate. There's still quite a bit of running room to recognise all our recent success with the drilling. We are lucky that we can get into production quickly, so over the course of this year, the reports should show production and cashflow growing steadily. That should stop any mad spikes followed by the inevitable drift ever downwards.

Justdandy. All piling in before news? The free float is tiny.

Absolutely. The product is fantastic. Insurance companies pay out, so the risk of default is massvely lower than, say, mortgage, student loans or car finance. You can apply actuarial analysis to predict future costs and returns. It is a niche market. The value of the market is �150bn. If Algw can get 1%, that would be $1.5bn. If they charge 1% management fees (and the industry would be up in arms at such ridiculous undercutting) that would be �15m. Annually. The upside potential here is colossal.

I've signed up Shakey, and intend to participate. The questions I was going to ask are: 1) will we get a breakdown of production volume and reserves estimates by well for each of the Moroccan drills 2) will you report when supply contracts are signed in Morocco for daily volume and price 3) will we get a breakdown of production volumes and reserves estimes for the Rabul drills 4) how are receivables going 5) will you fund any further acquisitions you make by debt or equity or a mix? But we'll probaly only be able to ask one question each

If there is news, then it will depend on the size of the contract/contracts. I'm not sure what management fees they charge, but an estimate could be made of the income they might generate. The more important thing for me is that they will signal that the senior life product they are marketing is regarded as a worthwhile investment. I don't see why they wouldn't be. The financial services industry is good at identifying financial products that can be securitised. It's already being done in USA, algw want to market it more widely. It may just be like when the mortgage market started to be securitised. That started small and had to be marketed. Michael Lewis's Liars Poker covers it. That market became colossal. If people cotton on to the upside potential here, this could go up quite substantially. There seems to be a tiny free float, so in part it depends on whether the major holders are prepared to sell some to provide liquidity.

Big 1.25m trade from late on now reported. At mates rates whether its a buy or a sell. Very big volume though. Might buy more on Monday.

Up 10p on the week. I hope there's some good news inbound next week before the PI conference call. Maybe some flow rates? Rabul 4? 1st quarter results? Reserves upgrade? Etc etc. Definitely still got legs with Kelvin drilling.

I agre Paris. I could never really understand why those II's wanted out, when they could have made good money with a bit of patience. Should have gone to Sdxsavers, If they're that blind, lol.

Or maybe he spotted someone buying almost 1% of the company, and the trade not being reported straight off? And extrapolated that someone was getting in pre news. Which we know is imminent, we just don't know when.

And there is the big buy. 1million just after 11am, now showing as a sell. The spread opened up straight after.

BMD tweeted that he expects an RNS son. Possibly even today, deffo Monday. And that a large buy had gone through, which wasn't showing. The prce did tick up before any trades showed. Given the market cap, any news of a contract should be hugely positive. There is good money to be made in Senior Life Settlement.

I got in slightly later than you Shakey, and then spent around a dispiriting year underwater. Although to be honest I was very busy last year and wanted somewhere safe to park my trading funds. There is always drilling risk, but SDX had a good amount of appraisal drills in the mix to mitigate that. And they have exceeded my expectations. Glad to be in good profit now, and waiting for the market cap to catch up with all the progress.

I do have some sympathy for Aim4utopia's predicament. We've all been there haven't we? I sold out of GENL last year, with a thumping loss, at what turned out to be the bottom. It's near enough 4 bagged since then. I don't have any sympathy for the trolling reaction though. It was Aim's decision to move on. If you are reading, Aim, there is still plenty of running room in SDX, and the opportunity to make a decent return with signifcantly lower risk than most Aim stocks. Treat investing dispassionately.
