Wow, what happened here this morning?
I am sorry to here som ehave lost here, put in behind you and move on, the sooner you do the better you will feel, Good luck and hopefully you will make it back soon!
I have reviewed their figures which to me look very good but I beleive most of this has already been reflected in the current SP, my take on it however is that there could be alot more room here for movement due to the latest projections, but what do know, I doubted WHY and look what it has done!
Did you get a chance to run the figures for PIC?
Buy and Sell are up to 30p
Would you have a quick look at PIC and give your view?
Yes I see your point and the penny has dropped!
Is it not the case that they have brought the value of the companies the have purchased onto the asset sheet, if this is correct then if the value of these is written down against the purchase value it will have a large affect to the negative?
I hope you are well, I know how you feel reference BARX, I am sick to teeth of Barx and told them so last week after they cost me £2k in lost profits while trying to buy Barclays (ironic), the difficulity I have in moving is that apart from the tech problems it is a good service. They have told me that I can have have L2 free from now on as long as I continue to trade a few times per month which is not a problem. With reference to WHY, I do not see 9p as there would be a stampeed at 15p I think, I was in and out twice today and made a nice £2k profit which I am very happy with and I must extend my thanks to OB and Spac3y as I was concerned with certain aspects of WHY's Assets (and still am) but their conbined knowledge and skill convinced me to buy. I hope you get a chance to buy in the morning and I may join you!
Again!
at the moment on Barx!
Now!
Congrats, you have done it again, can you tell me what alerted you to WHY in the first place? PS, I did jump in first thing so I am more than happy, Thanks for the tip!
None taken, I respect your posts and research and only wish I had your skill, I am not adverse to risk but I have been burnt twice in the last 12 months on punting to mush on risky shares. Alas my research is not as thorough as yours to date but I am learning all the time!
my concern is that the value of the companies they have bought are on their asset sheet and if these are written down then they could be in real trouble, I know that the NI & ROI offices are really struggling due to the current economic climate and others could be facing the same problem!
I would agree except for number 3 in that the acquisitions were made in and around the peak of the market and the value now would be questionable, I think they would struggle to realise mush if they tried to offload them. Just my opinion!
This is nice!
Thank you for your response, I will have to dig into their figures to see what I can find, at first glance their debt is many times their profit however this is not such a problem as there is the asset value to take into account. I will do some homework on the figures and share what I find. Setting this aside they have fallen from grace over the past 18 months and there must be more to this than just market sentiment, I will have to dig alot deeper me thinks.
