I am fortunate enough that barring one other investment other than GDR this year I have done particularly well on them all.
I sold the other dog at a loss and have stuck this dog in the bottom drawer however if my other investments hadn't have turned out so well my circumstances would be very different and I may have had to sell this at a loss too.
I suppose that's part of derisking and diversity in your portfolio but only you can determine when to call it a day.
Question to ask yourself is how much would you get for your shares now and is there a potential company you are looking at getting in that will give you a bigger return bearing in mind this needs over 100% rise for you to break even

A US listed company doesn't release an RNS however they may issue a GNW which can be and usually are released well before US trading begins as both Europe and Asia are up and trading. (example imanage based in Chicago released GNW regards a deal with a law firm in Texas over an hour ago which is 3 1/2 hours before US markets open) (Nordic is another from this morning NYSE, you get the idea)
The timing of their markets opening are completely irrelevant, coupled with the fact that whilst their markets open 14:30 here they will have been up and trading around 3 hours before this

the 4.8 figure is meaningless as thats the 52 week high so no data beyond that
It could fly to 10p or 6p or 4.8 might even turn out to be resistance but we won't know until we go past it how the market and charts then react

3.71 needs to br broke and held first then 4.8 on charts as this is the 52 week high could easily blast past it but 3.71 is key before anything else.

Irrelevant when US markets open as this is an LSE share so they can buy now same as you and me.
Also if it is a US firm the RNS relates to they can release a GNW from now too no need for US markets to open

Happy to be corrected but I was first to name Biogene as the company I believed most likely to partner/TO as they are the worlds biggest manufacturer of IFN, they manufacture their own for IV for MS but still manufacturer IFN
