I think we are at cross purposes as i have said retail client accounts are completly ring fenced. Unless of course they are not holding stock in a nominee account or crest membership account.

I worked nearly thirty years in the industry for a retail broker and then custodial investment bank.Ending my career at a registrar. During that time i was heavily involved in complience. I was also involved in Crest when the transition took place from talisman So i do know a little bit about this. To put your mind at ease you may want to contact the fca . I am sure they could substantiate this.

Re your question on custodian accounts.
I can assure you that shares held in a custodian account are completely safe just as client free money is These are ring fenced from the day to day activities of the custodian. As deltic is a UK company the shares would be held in Crest/Euroclear. Hope that helps in some way.

As im sure many are aware gas is strong again today. One thing which is of a concern is that if sabotage was involved with the nord pipelin what is stopping similar events to occuring to gas pipelines connected to europe and even ourselves.Scary times inmv

In all seriousness one question I did raise which did not come up in the presentation was.
Do the rig crew provide health and safety so not putting the onerous on Serica.i.e steel toe cap boots.Also who pays for the catering. Just give them beans on toast and spaghetti inmv if Serica are paying for it.. Maybe give emme a flogging as well as inmv that would expadite matters.

Flexmw it was not I. I did raise some questions . I haven't looked at the presentation yet,but reading the bb I think a number of people raised the same kind of questions.Hopefully we will soon get back to flour pounds plus soon even with current events.

We must be approaching a level now where a number of suiters will seriously be looking at acquiring us. I am hoping that it will be an all cash offer if it happens. The big question is what price would now be acceptable with the current market conditions. It must surely be at least gbp5.00 even in these conditions

I am amazed that Kistos is so far the only company which has shown an interest in us.It wouldn't surprise me if a company we haven't even heard of shows an interest.I.e an overseas entity

Will we just hear the same retoricht that deals are being worked on, but nothing is suitable etc. Apart from a drill which has 25% chance of success. No doubt energy voice will get to hear about it before lowly shareholders do.
On the plus side inrerest rates are rapidly rising so we should be able to cover our dividend payments by earning interest on the cash on deposit.

Newkotb. Any kind of merger with harbour should have taken place a long time of go . Harbour snapped upped the deal we should have re premier via the back door. Sad all round unless of course a bid in the short term materializes of six pounds inmho

The bod really do need to come up with something soon inmv. As I would otherwise take the words of strongly advise shareholders to do nothing as manipulation. Is that really in the interest of shareholders ???

The government has cleared the way for one hundred new licenses. What I find interesting is that Serica has been conservative in terms of drilling. Maybe this is about to change now most of it could be written off against tax. Alternatively an outside predator could be interested in some kind of merger where they use their expertise on the drill front and Serica uses its expertise for the operation side.

Personally I don't think that will be enough as I think the market will be looking for growth should North eigg fail,but you never know we could be in for a plessant surprise.

Thanks for the link. I am hoping that they come up with a clear strategy should north eigg be a duster. As for any nice surprises re deals being announced it would be great, but if something has occured then they should have rns it. So i,m not to hopeful on that front.
The licencing round could be interesting provided we can write off 3d sciesmec testing against the new tax. So fingers crossed for a possitive outlook from the presentation.
