All I know is that colin king has delivered on everything that he set out during the restructure 3 years ago. Inmv he has delivered far more with current events. His only flaw inmv if there is one is that he may have put a little too much trust in people that have not performed as they should have done. Maybe if they had omega would now be trading way above than current levels but I'm sure it will not be long whilst he is still at the helm.

I'm glad also. I think the problem is coming across that the advisors are not providing an adequate service in promoting the company. This must be more important than ever. In a way we were lucky six months ago with institutions holding large blocks of shares and not selling. The reverse is happening now together with a large pi base. Inmv the share will become a traders dream unless this is resolved by either a few more institutions or a marketing strategy re pi investors.

One thing a merger would provide is a huge cash pile to acquire a very large asset without a dilution

Is it such a bad thing if the additional open offer fails. Cd4 should cover the shortfall for development within that platform. They could always re raise at a later date if needed

Maybe now that they have more funds than they have had for a number of years together with a new pi investor base. they may allocate a little to pr in terms of private investors. They do hold a investors evening annually, but covid will probably put a stop to that. So electronic communication to shareholders is more important than ever. Also they have always replied to e-mails. That s great , but I would rather they now concentrate on the business than keep replying to every ones email especially with the volume of new investors. so a dedicated pr department must surely be worthwhile now. otherwise they will go back to just having a dozen holders. onmv on matters

How I see it is that covid will see us through until Food tech and cd4 sales really take off. Just hope they don't get to far ahead of themselves and go for they wrong type of acquisition in the meantime

Inmv what has not helped here is the timing of some lth offloading their shares. For whatever reason. It has also not helped that the house broker has not supported the share price prior to closing the placing. Something doesnt add up here inmv. Maybe a ploy to drive the price down so the largest holders can snap up the excess share allocation.
Lth holders will know how I used to get suspicious in the past with share movements. That was when 25,000 shares was the average daily volume. Its going to be interesting what happens to the price come Friday/Monday.
For me still hopeful we may get an uplift tomorrow. Which would still make the open offer attractive. Otherwise I will hold off and buy some more when things settle down, but the company advisors have let private investors down in my view. Pi investors should now be more important than ever to them after losing most of their institutional investors.

There is a small positive here. People still can take this up or cancel their entitlement for a day or so. In a way it is better the price has fallen now as opposed to after the cut off point of the offer. You can now purchase in the open market for just over placing price. For me it would have been far worse if the price had fallen after the cut off point. Maybe for psychological reasons.

Dibs I do see your point to a degree. Can you remember the old days when the company only raised the bear minimum to cover costs and investment into cd4. That inmv has been lost a little on this fund raise. We were also lucky to a degree with Mr r Sneller and oryx taking up most of the placing shares together with ex directors. For me I would be happier if they raised less and avoided some dilution. Nearly three million is ear marked for TB, and Malaria poc on the cd4 platform. Why not use future revenue from cd4 sales to cover this. Maybe they are bolstering all segments to get ready for a sale. Who knows I certainly don't.
Fwiw I am still holding most of my original holding and hope you come back. It is also good inmv that we have some new pi investors on board that believe in omega for the longer term. Just like you used to and hopefully still do.
A couple of large orders for Moligic together with China clearance for home testing would do wonders now.

Nxc. Mentioned this on advfn and I agree. If pi don't take the placing shares it will avoid further dilution. Inmv they do not need these additional funds. Covid sales will bolster the balance sheet. Cd4 sales should cover development costs for tbe,malaria. The fisr placing seems adequate to me. Unless they have another reason to raise the additional funds. FWIW I had planned to take my allotment but have now changed my mind. Unless it jumps back up to nearer 50 before the deadline

pheonix11. Another good comparison is to liken where we are with the rtc trials is to compare if this was a drug trial. We are technically at phase 111. With regulatory clearance on the horizon. This is quite amazing. Usually something like this would take about 7 to ten years to get to market. This could now be achieved in 4 months. Something which hasn't been discussed much is the intellectual property rights. If the consortium hold them as a collective body then Omega will own a fifth. Which could amount to hundreds of millions on its own. inmv blockbuster drug status. maybe someone could find a little more about that, but whatever happens inmv these are exciting times

Inmv we are at a very exciting stage in terms of trialling. If this was a drug being trialled we would be at phase 111 . Then awaiting clearance from the fda or europeon equivalent. How I see matters developing is that once we clear the current trials of 2500 patients. Clearance would soon follow. Its a bit like a phase 111 trial being carried out by the fda.
Under normal circumstances this would take up to ten years from conception to market launch
Inmo this could end up far bigger than all of us may have imagined. If it does pass the current trials then I wouldn't be surprised if fda clearance followed in a matter of weeks.

inmv girdz im afraid it is unless there are forward orders on the back of it, which I doubt. After design freeze the product will be upscalled and trialled further. for example on say 20 thousand people. probably hs workers. then only after that large scale manufacturing will happen. Albeit that could be quite soon, but that would be relient on government.phs etc. We all know where there loyalties lie. large pharma inmv. just hope roche , abbot or one of the others doent say they have a 100 percent test. otherwise gvnt will take that up straight away. My view is poc will be used in a limited way for key workers. Then after 6 months the government may allow it to be sold.. our main asset is Moligic,food tech and cd4. RTC poc will happen at some point , but don't hold your breath re sales. The company in the early days did the right thing and linked up with moligic. Gvrnt well need I say more are complete air heads. The press should be allover the chinless wonder who promoted roche and abbott. why aren't they, ?????????????????
