I don't want to give advice, but patience is the key inmo. Ive been here nearly four years and still holding. I sold some when covid took off before the rtc announcement., bu still hold the majority of my investment. I would now prefer a steady rise during the next few months as opposed to a spike. Which I believe will happen as news flow should be consistent in each segment of the business.. we may even get a dividend if covid sales take off.

The price comparison and graph practically have now matched each other during the past 3 months. Maybe someone could print both graphs off and see if they match each other. inmv it now looks most likely some sort of merger will occur soon.

Bless you my son. I am sure that most lth investors who still hold are reassured that we have a knight in shining armour protecting our interests

if anyone feels it's a positive being apart of of rtc. For me it's not. Moligic is what I like. We are talking about chief advisors backing roche and abbott before good old uk companies assets.
The more omega collaboration with oversees the better inmho. As a investor I just hope two...ts uk gvnt forsnt had omega back

Does it really matter. If you are an investor in omega then you will know what is going to transpire during the next calendar year..
For me I'm holding to my target. I like the company . Maybe pr could be handled slightly different,but who knows of the perfect balance. For me I will hold as they are a perfect investment for me. Ethically balanced. How many companies do you know of like this.

There is one thing to add. Spivs are all around us. The second world war had their fare share of them selling their wares. Now we are dealing with a different breed but they still exist all the same.

As a matter of interest what has attracted you to serica as a investment. For me it is how incredibly well it is run together with how they can negotiate the most complex of contracts within such a difficult industry.
I'm still a novice after a decade, but can see more than ever what an amazing company this is.

I don't think most people have grasped the importance of the moligic tie up. Moligic tests will be sold very cheaply to emerging and third world countries
India has a population of 1.1 billion . Even if omega only makes 50pence per test and india adopts 2 percent of moligic tests. That's 10 milion to omega. Also that is just one country without ongoing orders.
For me the bigger attraction now is the moligic tie up not rtc

Thanks rellim. It will be interesting to see what their long term dividend plans are. I'm hoping for 2p every six months.

Does anyone know if we will get a trading update this month. I'm pretty sure it was around this time last year.

The big one for me is that the company is developing a unit for covid . Which once established can rapidly respond to future steains of this virus.

You've done incredibly well . you've got 20 years on me. Without sounding impertinent what is your cagr since starting investing. Your right about opportunities arising. opportunities which have arisen during the past few months generally only come along every ten or so years.

I know your post is directed at another poster, but that is sound advice. that's the route I will be going down once Serica reaches its frutition. Along with bricks and mortar. Together with land if my investments survive these unknown times

Newkotb. I took the decision to add today as i am taking a year to 18 months view. I think the odds of the share being at this level or higher in 18 months time far out way the downside. My investments are mainly split between this and omega. So hopefully not too many sleepless nights are lying ahead . My choice though

chinch. I cant speak for newkotb,but I have added due to the dividend and growing cash pile. Together with the uplift of forty per cent production in 18 months time and the possibility of further deals on the horizon now that lockdown is gradually easing.

Just joined you Newkotb and added. As a matter of interest what do you estimate the current cash pile to be. I estimated it to be about 130 million by month end before dividend payment. Maybe over optimistic though.

The discontinuation of allergens is a possitive. The company is here to make maximum profit for shareholders. All staff and resources from that dept are now going to be focused on covid projects. That says to me that it is expected that the covid enterprises are going to expand rapidly and generate revenue both in the short and long term .it also adds to the strong effects the company already has re cd4.

you could be right , but if it does happen it will coincide with positive news. It wouldn't surprise me if it is a closed placing open to a few if it goes that way., but whatever it will not need to be for much unless its for an acquisition. e.g plant. so even it did happens it will not be negative. It will just mean the city boys have acquired cheap shares again
