The past six months has seen exceptional growth in terms of manufacturing capabilities by existing uk diagnostic companies inmo. So do people really think that this will not be used going forward.

Omega usually has a investors meeting around this time every year. Nothing has been announced as far as I can see. So it must be down to covid. Previously it has always been held in the city, but is open to anyone. If they do announce one and you live not too far away I should try to go. Unfortunately I live in the west country so its never been feasible for me to attend in the past.

I would be very surprised if moligic are not doing their bit via omega. just my view going by the original collaboration agreement together with moligics and omegas ethics

Its standard practice to issue a trading update after each trading period . usually about two weeks after period end. omegas six monthly period runs from 1st april until end of September. So not long for an update.

Not sure why people are getting so worked up about mhra approval for home use. Their time lines for validation of tests are clearly published on the website. So in my view we could be waiting sixty days from now. For me I would rather mhra are as thorough as possible. The last thing the consortium needs is the likes of J Deekes casting doubts on the validation. Better to ensure that all basis have been covered inmv

FWIW. I bought shares in omega due to visitect and food tech about 4 years ago with the plan that all of that would come together around now. Like most investors I did not see covid.
Inmo. Omega is going to be a hidden gemme in all sorts of ways. So in summary I dont think any of us can work out a validation but with cd4 and food tech who knows

Thats a great idea. Most companies seem to have them now. So no excuse as to why serica shouldn't have one.

No surprise there. You cannot have the public testing themselves with the new restrictions. Why isn't the consortium going for fda approval.
For me I will be happy when Chinese clearance for home testing of food tech materialises.
As for covid stuff well we will see,but I dont hold out much hope for anything that is linked to the gvnt and the jockey club
