At the end of the day all investors need to know if this merger is on or not. So really they should get on with it. It really does p...s me off that they announced a possible merger only for this to drag on. Sometimes its best to just keep stoom inmo.

The key here inmo is the possible interest that this will attract in terms of a cash injection. .Any working capital would go a long way. Hopefully this collaboration are in a position to do this now.

The Observer today published an interview/article from Mr Edd. Apparently he says that supporters of fossil fuels are mis informed and have ideologies that are not founded. Also hmg are prepared to double down on their green energy policy.

INMHO i am very surprised that the Observer published such an article. Let alone interview him.

Re Tailwind after EPL. They still went ahead with the deal when in many peoples view it should have either been shelved or better negotiated.

I think after Opec announcing their extra output together with other events. i.e tariffs this may be a good time to not merge with a company that is mainly oil related. So hopefully this merger will not go through inmv. The triton delay may also help us with the way oil prices are falling. It may even be more beneficial if it is delayed even further.
