Even if there is a winfall tax. I dont think it would be to high and as you say we have 40 miluon to write off. Also if we end up making 200 milion a year then does it really matter.

Whatever happens we will not get any more tri from them as they are now below 3 percent

Fwiw. I sold some shares in a company a while back to buy some more sqz. Only to see the other company double soon after and then watch serica languish for 18 months. So most of us get our timing wrong at times. As one of the posters posted you could always buy back in.

Theres also the issue of the eiggs being adjacent to rhum with good data. I would say any approach would be rebuffed. I for one now happy to hold . Fwiw last year i had nearly had enough. But things have definitely changed for the better inmv rhum3 being successful and Columbus imminent . Not to mention eigg drill n a matter of months. Let alone inflated gas prices.

With gas prices at these levels Serica does not need to do anything with the eiggs prospects not to far away. Maybe the time to address matters is after the first drill of eigg. Certaintly not before inmv as the company will have enough cash reserves in place by then to drill. Even without a farm in. Which must surely now be on the cards. Msybe even facilitated by hmg.

Flexmw.my view is the eiggs are a key part to sericas future. What will be interesting is how the market now values them with high gas prices.

Hopefully the share price will at least stay even come monday.

This is now a 500 milion pound company. These are small trades in value .. so somethings wrong when these kind of trades become special.

I have been a holder of omega for a number of years but not as many as i once held. I recently invested into Abingdom because i believe they are being titally overlooked. Fwiw i think what is now needed is a knight in shining armour for both companies. Similar to what occurred with omrga a numbetvif years ago.
