Serica has stated that production averaged over 26000 bod net to them in September. If this continues together with Columbus then they will be averaging 39000 to 40000 bod come January 1st. These figures seem higher than the guidence given previously in the year inmo. Maybe someone can confirm this.

I hope new and existing investors are not losing faith . Judging by the falls they are inmo. A nice rns on columbus together with an ops could help stem the rot.

I agree newkotb. My view is that the bod are treading water and tokeover is already pencilled in. Maybe even rhe price has already been agreed.
Its is also now not the best sector to be n. Maybe time to switch to bp as at least they will be more green than black in a few years

fwiw after 40 years of investing i never get surprised , so inmv doyor and draw your your own conclusions over this an any other investment. what i will say is that there a number of posters on here that really do know the industry i am not one of them by the way. howether they are worth listening too inmv.

Iran are coming back to the negotiating table which could end up being in Sericas favour. In terms of freeing up the ioc share of rhum .Serica may still yet end up owning the entire field.

My view is that if something was leaked it could have come from a number of sources. I dont think the large drop was just due to that. Gas had fallen sharply as well together with cop approaching. Just a bad combination.However as others have pointed out the rns could have mitigated this to a degree had the company been a little more upbeat and alluded to current revenue.

The new criteria announced today is very interesting inmv. For two reasons. One that it will clear rubbish tests from the market. Secondly diagnostic tests are going to be taken more seriously going forward in terms of regulatory clearance and aligning with the pharmaceutical industry. This inmv can only help for valuation terms to the pharma industry.Which has got to be good for companies like Omega.inmv

If Serica gives up all its recent gains then i would welcome any takeover merger , but not at this level by a company carrying a lot of debt.inmh
inmv we can look forward to substantial dividend growth from here. Would we achieve that from a company acquiring us with a substantial debt burden. Jusy my view

Rockrose was cash rich and predominantly oil which could have complemented Serica. Sericas share price was also languishing at that time.

Hopefully there are some new investors who will become lth and not ones who are only interested in some kind of merger with an inferior company to Serica inmv.
