This share is at a the bottom of the price range. The reason being that nearly 900m share have been issued at around this price due to conversion. These people are not dumb shareholders like you or I. They will want a dividend. I think they will insist that costs are reduced and also volumes increased. Gold itself needs to make its decision in the next few days.

I think they are one of the remaining Convertable Bond holders. I think they own around 17% of the convertables. Perhaps (hopefully) they are converting.

I read that tomorrow is the date for the court case, can anyone confirm ?

Personally i am not to pessimistic about 2020 production. What is important is the 2021 forecast. It should be 75k ounces higher then 2020 due to the new floatation plant. I would also like to see a mining program that taps into some of the reserves. It might mean there needs to be a resolution to TEMI. Hopefully now the bad apples are gone and the rest of the staff are on-board with making this company a success.

It should also clear up a reputation for dodginess and help reconcile two warring factions as long as it isnt punative.

I think you are right, both good and bad.
Good in that there won’t be a return of the old management It also mean the future is likely to be honest.
Bad in that it creates a distraction from mining gold, and also leaves a cloud over the company.

I don’t think it would have received 84% of the vote unless there was some sort of evidence already.

POG was never in a financial position to build a POX hub. Especially one that is less then 50% utilised. Without the POX hub this company would have concentrated on mining and the shares would have been trading at £2 equivalent (for all the dilution). Think about 8 years of punitive interest. Building a POX hub was the equivalent of the local newsagent building a distribution centre. POG got lucky that gold turned around, since it is no longer priced for bankruptcy.

I think we need to look at who's actions are attempting to obstruct the company and who actually created the debt. Converting the debt to shares is not compatable with attempting to drive up the debt.

we do have two competing narratives here:

1. Previous management were feathering their own nests
2. Current management are trying to drive up debt, to buy the company on the cheap.

I thought that the prerogative of the previous management who gave close to $4m a year charitable donation for many years while being so strapped for cash that they had to increase the convertibles at the last minute by another $25m (6% of the equity).

The interesting thing about this theory on Amur info is that Strukov is doing this because he desperately needs 1.6Bn rubles and is going to sell POG a mine for that amount. This translates to $21m. Surely he could sell a few shares in POG to get this ? Secondly a mine for $21m (no matter how unprofitable) is a steal. Reminds me of docter evil in Austin Powers.

Look on the bright side with gold at $1900 the share price doubles or more next year.
