I believe like the antibody test the mologic deal gives the manufacturing rights to odx and its then under visitect brand. Likewise antigen the same so it goes to odx who can then brand and outsource if they choose. There is also a deal to support foreign, less developed nations with a very cheap test which may be manufactured by others.

Hence why you don’t see odx jumping for more rtC tests or joining Avcta with their potential test

Abbington have the RTC and a deal with avcta, as every message odx are trying to leverage several routes and tests just in case

The answer for big pharma is they would just buy companies for the rights like companies like odx, small change even at £2 if the potential is there

The government have sourced antigen lateral flow from foreign businesses as they want them now. Doesn’t mean they won’t source odx when available it’s just about timing. We know odx are now more government linked through RTC so once the test is done I am sure it I’ll get sold. It was highlighted on here about a week ago the government was starting to trial three lateral flow antigen tests. Mologic is being trialled but not ready as we all know so the three tests are from abroad unless steps are taken to significantly change the mologic timelines.

These are listed as the three testss. There all foreign hence through public health England. Mologic tests will also carry out trials and tests using Liverpool tropic uni centre as it validated, results would be counted and CE Mark.
