I’m glad they don’t include warrants in the valuation. I’m keen to see where the divi comes from and how much is the financial instruments they wield when doing deals with business.

I think economically a harder time aftermath is coming, this business must be able to generate income irrespective of income from only divi payments or the option to sell warrants so let’s see.

Baron investor on Twitter is quoting a $1.4 Bn net cash position 2022 on today’s spot prices. Reading it right? Isn’t the company valued at 2 billion so there’s not a lot of difference.

I’m not so sure the region would frighten off takeovers more whether the majority share holder will sell. These areas aren’t so risky pre say compared to many other mining businesses so that bits acceptable. Have to be a high price for him to relinquish this amount of cash, how many divis needed before original investment is paid for?

And reading the results update I’m thinking their selling ahead at these types of prices? Do they can bank these numbers and whilst it may go higher these are good prices when running this business. Is this correct?

Volumes improved on last year, no covid impact, debt pile now gone, double their cash pile by around 130 million. So they’ve gained at least 131 and 282 at least in cash on top of everything else from this time last year.

At h1 they had 174 million debt which has evaporated in six months.

They now need to buy something else whether a company or shares, they might do a year of high divi payments?

Does the broker appointment mean anything? To attract more investors, seek the higher exchange levels?

The divi payments will now come quicker, final results six weeks ish after special divi where last year they deferred due to covid but i expect not in 2021. Final year divi and special, total 6.6 cent so could this also get doubled? That's a good handout in two months.

That’s the point. For new investors the risk, gain is based on an rns saying a settlement has been made or it hasn’t happened.

For long term holders you either sell out and realise the loss or as above weigh up and take the risk.

I’ve gone far more defensive and taken a lot of money off the table into safer income bond and share funds. I think we are going towards a value over growth market and we haven’t experienced a huge amount of the covid, trump dynamic.

Fxpo is more growth and value, I’ll see the next divi and go from there.

covid and really, probably a complete break down in many economies even though the stock exchanges push on.

be interesting whether iron ore keeps ploughing on upwards or we see a re-trace over the next few weeks. hence i guess the benefit for me in the divi policy alongside the growth. have aviva, fxpo and rgo to put divis forward over the enxt few weeks which i'll use to invest and hopefully keep growing the portfolio value.

ive started looking at the tax rebate, apply for up to 3 years back in one go is my aim, bought this stock for the fist time in 2020 so sometime on my side.

CameraMatics raises €4m in Series A funding round

Pires Investments plc (AIM: PIRI), the investment company focused on next generation technology, is pleased to provide an update on its investment in Sure Valley Ventures ("SVV") in relation to CameraMatics, the leading IoT fleet and vehicle safety technology specialist, a company within the SVV portfolio.

CameraMatics has successfully raised in excess of €4 million in a Series A funding round from a consortium of investors, including existing investors SVV and Enterprise Ireland, led by Puma Investments, a leading provider of growth capital to small and medium-sized businesses.

This new funding has been raised at a valuation that represents over 300% of the CameraMatics' valuation as at the time of SVV's initial investment in November 2017.

CameraMatics states that the funds will be used to support further expansion of CameraMatics' US branch and drive forward the company's recent entry into the mainland European market. CameraMatics has an extensive roadmap for future product and software development and expects to create more than 50 jobs over the next two to three years in Ireland, along with other roles in the UK, US and mainland Europe.

Certainly is a pretty big and significant setup. Is there any very similar, like for like comparison company in tonnage that we can compare for value? I know some of the other iron ore producers are worth far more

Unbelievable, at the moment it just keeps going and even if it retraces somewhat these are still outstanding iron ore prices.

No I should retire from AIM and to be honest I hold less stock % of portfolio in AIM than I’ve ever done, only one other stock RGO which is invested in many junior stocks so ideally dilution of risk even more, they make money and have a divi. I’ve been in AIM years, my most successful year ever, once fox, if fox hits certain levels I’ll sell and move off into income funds!!
