RE: The value added by West Kenya11 Mar 2022 10:19
its now called SVS sanlam global gold and resources fund. i bought it last year actually at a high point at that time and it was my first dive into precious metals. i kept hold, sold out this last week with a 8.5% return so was very happy with that as thought i'd got fixed to a fund, monthly management fees and no way out without a loss.
since last year done a lot more research into precious metals, debt levels etc and world macro economics, inflation and now have about 14% potfolio in dividend paying, little debt gold and silver miners. ive chosen some stable stocks like wheaton and barrick alongside this one.
wheaton yesterday announced another divi, great profit and revenues and i also like most twice yearly or quarterly divi payments.
i just bought some more in here today, fixee my position at the 14% and happy to watch, good hedge against other aspects and equities and these businesses arent like the past where they had huge debt.
