Nonsense......the share price is on the floor and they think sorting their pay packets is the priority...staggering. But no surprise given the awful prescedent started by Francis on reward then fail basis........some PIs are completely deluded on this one- the Prof being one of them....!!!!!!! Nn

There’s nothing of interest n any of the RNS, just snouts in the trough again for the board.....! I do not own any shares now - and given the RNS I am pleased about that.

I am not a profit of doom here, just that I can see nothing update / or results wise to prevent a further decline based on Covid 19 second wave. I will reconsider when they are below 18p - that’s just my view. But liking the look of Stagecoach now and also SRES for the cash to make a quick profit on - I am fairly sure SIG will not deliver a decent return on the current share price.

The share price has now become detached from the so called recovery story now . That is a worry to me and therefore I’m out.

This is just going nowhere for reasons I have set down previously, confirming loss making in H2. I think the vultures will be eyeing this one up, as even CD&R would take double their money - if a CRH or other rocked up with £350m to buy the group. Just not convinced on the long term hold and that may well be a very long hold to get any kind of meaningful return on my investment.

I disagree - this is a dead duck. The concept of multibagger is miles off......This will get taken out at 35p - CD&R are just waiting to pounce.

Remind me why we supported the raise at 30p......! This will be bid for.....

It’s a drifter and locked at this level for the short to long term. And as you say amount on Cineworld would have yielded a better return and they are shut.........! Enough said....!

The share price is not about how well the construction sector is doing - it is based on the majority holder having bought in at 25p. That is the line in the sand. What is another £200m to buy the whole enterprise to CD &R - the petty cash. The share price is like having your foot stuck in a bear trap......your going nowhere until the trap setter is there to either put you out of your misery or set you free.....more likely the former with a low bid of 35p....! I know it is not what people want to hear either, but Francis will ensure that is the outcome...

CD&R have this share price firmly pegged at c.25p - and that allows them the time to let events and others weaken the group further. They will pick this off and for those who feel the share is undervalued should be mindful of the fact Private Equity only help themselves and in this instance that is acquiring a loss making business for a song - I repeat they will offer at 35p or thereabouts - which will obliterate those who think it is good hands now.

What a rubbish share to hold and worse a CEO which throws the share price under the bus for the next 12 months too, he is meant to act for best interested of the shareholders and does that.......who needs enemies when.....etc....!

Raleigh- 4.65% down and you state that is insignificant......I would beg to differ. This will drift for months on the back of profitability that the CEO says is at least 12 months away.......

Logically the drop to 22p allowed the manipulators to exit their short positions (the dark hand of the MMs). And now the the bid moves considerably....! Happy to see a bid for whole shooting match at 40p to be honest......take the profit and run!

To then be in a position to make a bid for the business......I think this is ripe for a take over as if they roll this european business (as not just U.K.) - it would make for a very compelling global add on for their construction segment already started in the US. The £9.2m is the petty cash in CD&R and would allow them to add to their portfolio and gain them a place mat in the european construction sector. I think Francis pushed out the profitability date to well in to next year - which CRUCIALLY gives CD&R a big enough time frame to make an offer and secure the business. Cannot believe they would be doing this for any other reason......
