Mcpickle - No, London does not need to halt. It's only in ASX rules
Reaper- No I’m going to clean an oil spill off the Dalton Highway just past mile post 377. Apparently it’s everywhere. It’s only shorters that choked when the news broke!
Waiting for payday and I will do the same. I doubt/hope the price won’t stay low until the beginning of next month though. I also have a large tax rebate waiting to be paid out. I think I will miss the boat to top up cheaply once these are both cleared. Off to Alaska today for a few weeks, I hope my positive thoughts work their magic closer to the source! It’s just a co-incidents that my job has taken me to Alaska for these few pivotal weeks. I even contacted a few tour companies to see if they would do a tour up the highway past mile post 377! They don’t, but did say there is a shuttle you can take.......
I always used to find my Christmas presents before Christmas and have afell, shake them a bit and try to figure out what they were. It hopefully will be the best Christmas ever, but the market will do everything it possible can to stop that from happening. Next weeks Ann should be interesting!
CoOpz I stand corrected
Nitrogen will be added to the column continually until the frack fluid had been removed.
You cannot take the time taken to work out the time remaining to flow the rest of the frack fluid. They opened the well and allowed it to flow naturally until pressure decreased enough to allow for nitrogen equipment to be introduced to the well. For that they would have had to stop Flowback to allow time to do this. Once the nitrogen lift started the flow increased again and has stabilised at 350bpwd
After nitrogen introduced Flowback stabilised at 350bpwd
Yes, very pleased with this one. Should settle a few nerves, as expected!
I don't think you can call it the market not believing when you have MM's playing games, stop-losses being triggered, follow the herd mentality of people not understanding the announcements or what is going on, and panic selling. Now if was a larger co with large investors and instos offloading, then maybe you have a point.
I met Paul at at one of the London events, that was enough for me.
Not sure if this has been posted already..... http://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/stocktube/9594/outcome-of-88-energys-icewine-2-well-testing-pivotal-for-investor-confidence-9594.html
For once this is going the opposite way. Usually it goes up on speculation then gets battered once news drops. This is very different. I would prefer it this way. Dropping before news, then....whoosh!
“We stuck something down the hole and it went all the way to the bottom” that’s what she said.....no, no never mind. Sorry couldn’t resist!
A crystal ball more accurate than a chart with such big news (either way) due in the next few weeks!
Please Can you tell me from the chart where we will be two weeks on Friday? Thanks
Lazarus65 on HC sums it up well........ “All appears to be as any rational person would expect...including the informed layperson. With well head pressure at 3000 psi after winter shut-in it was expected to flowback the frack juice....and it did. Based on the pre-shut-in experience, it was also expected to flow at a declining rate and it did. The well head pressure was expected to decline correspondingly, and it did. The case for nitrogen artificial lift to be introduced, once the short term post-shut-in natural flowback eased, still exists and the crew is equipped and ready to do this imminently. The wellhead pressure (pre artificial lift) remains well above the 35psi required to operate the separator at the surface....and this is in situ to test the hydrocarbon concentration once the crew believe it is worth doing. All good IMO. DYOR as I am just another layman.“
If they hadn’t started on time there WOULD have been an announcement.
Im in Miami, just off to bed now. Funny thing is, Ill be in Alaska from the 21st for a couple of weeks. Not the north though. Hopefully a good omen for me and the rest of us.
Its also still Sunday in Alaska......
