Maybe the merger has been partly to do with delay plus obviously they 12-18 months with lockdown and the fact that investors were not committing new funds for investment.

OB, THX green light will be a fundamental game changer for VAL, not just the upfront payment of 2.2mn but royalties, regular payments etc., plus a big fat $61mn plus $37.5mn for each later indication.

Quit a jump for a company valued at circa £5 mn last week!

Looks like THX are well and truly up and running after 2 years of nothing - l think this bodes well for VAL.

And more importantly, if arrives before EOY then no placing, or at least at a much higher level but with the £2mn plus income from the lab l suspect VAL should bd pretty much self financing.

Been talking it down for months and months and he has a categorically said it is uninvestable and he would only invest if Adam joined.

Well Adam hasn’t joined it’s still uninvestable and he continues to talk it down neither long or short l think which is bordering on sone serious health issues posting at all hours of the day and some very early in the morning!

Ok porky aside, l think great that the lab finally opens its doors, albeit l do not think it will have any price moving impact at all, as it is IP updates, contracts and revenues incoming from the lab that are going to make a difference to the SP.

Are there suitable candidates to replace the directors mentioned, albeit the answer would probably be yes but at what cost and over what timeframe would VAL operate without a full board. Perhaps a new CFO as l suspect Gerry is nearing retirement, but Kevin has an excellent track record:

This is a bit like removing a football manager - fans discontent and the kick you out but, perhaps allowing the strategy to unfold is sometimes wiser than making a decision based on emotion.
