The interesting thing about Proton Energy is that it will help with the pipeline issues in Alberta and reduce the WCS differential which is a $100 million per day transfer from Canada to the USA. To understand the issue you need to learn about air barrels. It is the system of how oil is allotted onto the pipeline.

I have great respect for POQ and have been put in his position and recognize that he is far more talented than I am. The difficulty for POQ, in my mind, came with the arrival of the fracking moratorium. I am just hopeful that he can return our original investment in the next 18 months when all is said and done.

I may be a fool but I will be moving my assets into the hydrogen economy. I would never have thought that Ballard Power Systems could have survived from its fall from grace $165.00 to $0.61. I picked up 1000 shares today at $8.66 They are supplying the fuel systems for the hydrogen fuel tests in Alberta. It's a multi year test. Bison Transport has 1400 semis and Trimac has 1000's of semis.

If Proton Energy can provide the Tar Sands with technology to become the Hydrogen Sands then that would be very sweet. Their targets are far shorter than the 15 yrs it has taken Falcon to get off its ass. I am a big fan of POQ and Falcon Oil.

I see that Proton has a letter of intent from Cenovus. Cenovus recently produced their billionth barrel of oil using SAGD technology. Cenovus is positioned for $11 Billion in cumulative free flow funds by 2024. Here's a nice little synopsis of what Proton is doing.

That's fair. If they have something they will be quickly bought out by Warren Buffet or Bill Gates as both are heavily involved in the Canadian energy sector. I hope they are successful and on the buffet.lol

It's good to be skeptical, as 99.9% of theorems fail. Proton Technologies looks to produce 5-10KG of hydrogen in their playground in Saskatchewan in the next 6 months. The science behind Proton is good for Falcon. Developers can extract hydrocarbons and hydrogen. They can convert delivery trains to hydrogen fuel cell. Suddenly your 16% extraction is 30%, 40% ...and beyond.
There is a hydrogen super highway being built between Calgary and Edmonton and beyond which suggests Grande Prairie and/or Ft Mac.
This technology has the potential to expand the value of our little hydrocarbon play. And with some pretty serious optics.

Proton Technologies has developed a process of extracting low cost hydrogen from oil fields. Their cost of producing hydrogen is $0.10 / kg or 90% less than the cheapest known production method and it occurs in the ground with zero emissions. Hydrocarbon fields can become hydrogen fields. So, the 2 trillion barrels of oil in Alberta converts to 90 billion tonnes of hydrogen enough to supply all of Canada for 700 years.

We are in our last 18 months of what seems like a lifetime together. This asset has been brewing for 1.4 billion years. I respect this board and everyone's opinion. There is no shame in speaking out. This has been a long time coming. POQ has done a masterful job. In my dream last night, he told me we would hit 5. WetWater, I don't attribute my 900% gain on Falcon Oil to anything other than luck. I was fortunate to sell Ultra Petroleum for a 250% gain but missed 90% of the gain as the price rose from US$1 to US100 over 5 or 6 years. My rational for selling was Marc Brunner was a pump and dump specialist so get out on the big gain. Serendipity!
I don't profess to even understand the stock market, although I have been investing for 30 years. I do like to see a pro like Warren Buffett change up his strategy from buy and hold to trader. He is in and out of Suncor making big gains. The message here is that even the best in the industry are always learning.
I look at these boards as bull boards and don't rely on anything said and I never get tied to ego. While BO comes across as an ash hole he actually gives very valuable information. We need to cut through the chaff.
In the early days POQ spoke about potentially getting an extended drilling program by reducing the percentage of the play from 30% to 25%. A lot of time has passed since that statement.
In Santos last EMP they spoke about doing 2-4 well annually in the McArthur basin for the foreseeable future. If my memory serves me correctly then I thought Origin was potentially looking to sell their interest in the Beetaloo Basin on good results.
As I have said in the past I am fully invested in FOG and wish for the best. Silverback is probably correct in his low ball price but I am hoping that Vegas Girl hits the share price based on her analysis.
