Blencowe Resources: Aspiring to become one of the largest graphite producers in the world. Watch the video here.
Regarding an earlier post I would not like to think that people have got life-savings or pensions heavily invested here. This is high risk, so spread the risk and have a balanced portfolio (managed funds, index trackers, gold/other precious metals, even cash). AIM can be a graveyard for investors and not for the faint hearted.
There is a lack of new investors and ii’s, I believe it needs to turn a corner on the back of good news to ‘stop the rot’ and attract new investors, this has now been on a downward trend for over four and a half years. I thought it would have stabilised well before now, but hopefully the slate can be wiped clean, loss making entities removed, costs reduced (not just production). When (or if) this is likely to happen I have no idea.
BBN and Myles, who both used to post here, are pro (or semi-pro) traders. They have been in and out of this a few times , both now out. Not sure pdub fits alongside them. BBN made good money on this, but recent trades were short lived and I think he’s giving it a wide berth. Got quite a bit of grief on Twitter.
I don’t see the company doing any share buybacks, what is in it for the company? Possibly reduce debt payments but that depends on other factors. Remember the plan was to expand to 8000mtv , is that still achievable as that would involve far more debt being taken on, but we are talking something that is years away. CCs main focus will be addressing production issues and getting to the 5000mtv target.
The username is searchable and the old post history showing, nothing after Dec 2021. Was constantly posting about what top ups he’d been making along the way. He joined the party as it was on its way down. Claimed a seven figure holding. Interacted with Rich Ken, there are some others referenced who have not been seen in a long time.
Yes, no surprise after the RNS last week. The drop below 3% should have been reported in May. We now don’t appear to have any real institutional investors. Do Orange trust count as an institutional investor? The morningstar ownership table lists one institute with ten million shares, and a couple of minor ones, but even this may be out of date now.
Also FMs 16 million will also drop off the Bushveld list in the next update as he will no longer be a director, latest update was on his last day - 30th June.

From memory did FM not say some time ago that the Chinese had offered to purchase Lemur but he considered the offer too low? I think this came out on an investor call, certainly pre-pandemic. It has been another drain on the company with no visible progress, I think we may end up giving this away but at least its off the books and will save money.
How much money is being spent on Lemur each year? Aware there are people assigned to it and there must be additional ongoing costs.
How much money is being spent on the electrolyte plant while we await orders, staff were recruited to work there ?
We literally do not have any ii’s left, aside from the mysterious Orange Trust. Everyone else bailed aside from one with ten million, and that information is out of date. PIs must now hold ( via trustees) well over 90% of the shares.

The company need to make a very good profit, not just a head above the water profit. I’m not even certain it’s doing the latter, but we’ll find out in September. It needs not only to cover existing costs but also any debt considerations. In an ideal world we need to be clearing $15-$20 per kilo net profit.
The only way the share price could be boosted in the short term is for a director buy in. That will bolster sentiment and it always has a good impact with investors. However, I believe that the company is now entering a closed period so this may not be possible until after the publication of the half yearly interims.
I am expecting the RNS to land tomorrow morning. That would give people time to digest the contents prior to the AGM on Wednesday. I agree that Acacia had a hand in FMs exit, and that it has been known for months, would CC not have served at lengthy notice period?
All eyes on CCs thoughts, he needs to be transparent
I agree with the poster who said this is one of the most important RNSs the company will release, purely for the fact the new CEO will be giving his thoughts as to the current state of play. I am not expecting a forensic analysis at this stage, but it is important he does not let this drag out. Hopeful it will be by the end of the week.
For me as important in this operational update are the thoughts from the new CEO. He has had about four weeks to get to grips with issues around production and financing. It is an operational update after all and not a financial update, but I am hoping he gives some sort of indication as to what his concerns are and what the remedy is, assuming it falls within bmn’s control.
He is now the leading light will steer the company for the foreseeable future. Its important he is transparent about any issues in as far as he can be. I certainly do not want ambiguous statements which I believe have caused misunderstandings in the past. Its got to e clear, fully understand some aspects may need more forensic analysis p.
it’s not necessarily the q2 operational report that will be the centre of attention, ( i think it will be a case of inline with targets) but the promised update from the new ceo. he has put his boots on and been going round the operational areas on a fact finding mission as part of his baptism.
i assume he is also delving into the costing side, not just operating costs but these non- operational costs which seem to suck away at profits. he may be able to give an update regarding the electrolyte plant, information has been sp**** up to now, and also update on the minigrid although at present i don’t see this as a game changer.
we will see how much he is able to articulate to shareholders and just as important, the wider market. heavens knows this needs something to stimulate interest.
