Thank you BBN for answering all my points so comprehensively. As you say, we won't know exactly what contracts we have won until we're told, but the anticipation for me is intense, and I'm sure it is for many others on here too.

Alfa, fair enough but probably an olympic sized swimming pool might be better :-)

Of course, the error in my last post (as pointed out by Endion) is that I made the assumption that we were going get the contract for all 800MWh. I think I was getting a little carried away here, for which I obviously blame BBN for painting such an incredible picture of the almost endless BMN possibilities.

When I posted the last item I meant to ask the board how realistic the statement "install 800 MWh of distributed battery storage by December 2019" is. Is this timescale possible? I can't believe they'd set a deadline so tight that it would be likely to be missed, but can BE and UET manufacture that much electrolyte in the time allowed when they haven't even started to build the plant at PE yet? And, ironic as it may sound, where are they going to find 4,000 tonnes of V when all current capacity at Vametco goes to make Nitrovan?

I'm sure some of the analysts on here can provide clarity, so thanks in advance.

Dunno if this has been posted already, apols if so. This news item covers Phase 1 and 2 of the battery roll-out (which we already knew about) but also gives details of the proposed sites and the planned storage capacity in each region.

"Eskom has been removed from Fitch Rating’s “rating watch negative” list, reducing the risk the power utility's credit rating being cut to Fitch’s fourth tier of junk in the near future.

Fitch informed Eskom that its credit rating remains BB- with negative outlook, the state-owned enterprise (SOE) said in a media release on Friday.

“The decision to affirm the rating and remove the rating watch negative (RWN) on Eskom is a positive indication of the ratings agency’s view that Eskom has made significant progress towards improving the company’s liquidity health and resolving corporate governance challenges that plagued the company,” Eskom said.

By the end of September, Eskom had secured about 72% of the R72bn it needs to borrow in its 2019 financial year and is fairly confident it can raise the remainder.

“The ratings action is an affirmation of extensive measures implemented by the company’s leadership in transitioning Eskom from business-as-usual towards sustainability,” Eskom CEO Phakamani Hadebe said in the media release.

“This reflects the start in our journey towards restoring financial health, however, the road ahead will be tough. Eskom remains a vital contributor to ensuring that SA’s economic growth targets are achieved and that security of supply remains one of our key priorities”."

Many people on here have repeatedly wondered why BMN don't have any big II's invested yet. I found this news article yesterday which may give some of the answers to that question but, in view of the current negativity on the board due to the 'big seller', I hesitated to post it.

However, on the back of BBNs posts this morning, and the highly probable impending ground-breaking news re BE and VRFBs, I now believe that BMN and BE are a big enough story to challenge reluctant IIs mindsets worldwide.

and is making moves to become a vertically integrated vanadium producer. They would appear to be 4 or 5 years away from producing their own V2O5 if they deem the resource potentially profitable and the V grades worth digging up.

"CellCube owns a 100% interest in the Bisoni Mackay and Bisoni Rio vanadium properties, located in Nye and Eureka Counties, Nevada. The properties are set to spin out November 30, 2018 to a newly formed company V23 Resource Corp. (see news release dated June 28, 2018).

The properties consist of 201 contiguous lode mining claims (approximately 1,680 hectares). With Only 12 per cent of the Bisoni McKay area has been adequately drilled tested to date, and none of the Bisoni Rio. This has already resulted in the estimation of a National Instrument 43-101 indicated resource of 11.9 million tons at an average grade of 0.39 per cent vanadium pentoxide (V2O5), and an inferred resource of 7.0 million tons at an average grade of 0.42 per cent V2O5 (see Company news release dated September 13, 2016)."
