Hi Matt, Maybe he was head hunted by SES for lining up great deals for Hylas 4 LOL. Guess we will have to wait until the event to see who will be speaking from Avanti if of course they are still trading by then depending on who you listen to.

Hi Matt, Just out of interest when you apply your critical thinking method based on your commercial business model experience can you give some examples which industries you are using to compare against the satellite industry? Are you using competitor data such as Inmarsat, Eutelsat or any other providers or a completely different industry?

Speaking of zero credibility up pops southstreet, any particular reason why you changed your prediction from October/November to now April? Or were you just wrong again? It’s a good job that you bought at the bottom and sold at the top. I see miserable Matt through all is negativity and arguing has got himself a fan club, how strange! Even more strange is posters predicting the company goes bust the very month the new satellite comes online which is the very reason the company is in so much debt, if it does go bust it will only be probably 1.5 years after H4 launch if they don’t manage to sell capacity on the new sat. Personally I don’t think AVN will go bust at all but no doubt a rocky road ahead. Here’s a reminder for you southstreet in case you forgot your original prediction (I know you are very busy buying at the bottom and selling at the top) 1-With pleasure. Was in Bor at the 25p mark got out with a small loss, I feel for the LTH here and have been keeping a close eye on the goings on here although not much to watch! Will be investing here soon if I don’t miss the boat. Good luck.

Whilst the pipe dreams of competitors continue to remain silent this group will have live capacity available sooner than I had expected. Always difficult setting up a new brand on a different continent hopefully AVN has learnt some valuable lessons

Interestingly the company seems to expanding, lots of new jobs available, one that caught my eye was the ECO POP sales, According to the description they intend to have 500,000 units, that is a large number of units. Still very high risk at this stage but another year or so we should know either way. GL

No doubt the AfricanS can afford broadband but it seems pointless having all the hassle of selling via hundreds of resellers, back haul is the key here IMO they can use their smart phones via their mobile providers on Avanti backhaul. As far as forward selling capicity this is always an issue unless selling at severely discounted rates, look at Facebook. anyone who has ever done business in Africa will know they are cautious and suspicious. I expect many trials and hopefully large contracts soon after H4 is active. As a starting point the biggest satellite broadband provider outside of North America has already signed a contract, small but shows intent. For me the party here hasn't started yet, and as for south Street he already posted he's only here to wind up long term holders.

By 2026 all This companies capacity will be being utilised and generating income, Any debts renegotiated on more favorable terms and who knows even more Avanti satellites.

Clearly you have some issues, I was replying politely to robbiemister regarding streaming which you can do over any platform on the Avanti network, steaming as in watching youtube videos or Iplayer, anyone can check any avanti company who sells avanti services, they all offer streaming, and you can do it in 4K if you have selected the correct package. And yes I am aware of SNG as Avanti have contracts with SNG providers. Have a nice weekend.

Robbiemeister, Not sure what you expected to see at Avonline HQ except a small 76cm antenna which is typical end user kit, as the Hubs will be installed at Avanti earth station. Also you can stream no problem over KA with voice in sync with picture, On the old KU systems with their large beams and low throughput rates this was a problem, but now with smaller more concentrated KA beams and improved technology being used all over the world by the big players this is not a problem. For example EE will use a combination of Avanti bandwidth and 4g to stream live body cam footage for police officers back to their HQ which cannot be done at present over their airwave system for the new ESN project. On the more professional units latency is lower at 500ms-600ms but they come at a cost. Best of luck.
