Greedy when others are fearful17 Jan 2018 01:09
Selling NG now, even at a loss is a very debatable strategy. I dont currently hold but will buy back in when I think the bottom is in sight, which is round about now I suspect. The dividend is good and I think the danger from Corbins lunatic pressure group is overstated. Around 50% of NG profit is generated in the USA and in the unlikely event that it was renationalised shareholders would not suffer much, if at all because the price labour would have to pay would be more than the current share price anyway Bootsox, I sold DC recently because retail is just too chancey at the moment. DC hasnt released Xmas figures yet, but they had better be good. The World Cup might also help them a bit but that is no way on which to base an investment strategy. I am currently significantly down on GSK, but selling will just cement my loss. Sometimes investment is a long game. And so it should be.
