You are correct, that is how all mining begins. Similarly when investing in early stage miners (and MET1 is an investment in a minority investment on such a claim), talk of “our uranium is going to be in so much demand” is misleading, this company currently has no uranium, it has the hope that the rocks and dirt that the claim a company it owns a minority stake in may contain some. If it does it will be a long time til they work out whether it’s economically viable. 7-10 years to production if it proves economically viable.
