Sorry needed to address this. Yes I’m well aware. With all that influence he’s only managed to convince them to part with £100k. Hence my point about calling in a favour to add credence to his new vehicle without them actually having to materially commit. Nearly £3m raise and they are so convinced they put in the equivalent of a cheap night out. Lol, you do the matbs…

i don’t care about the share price going lower for me. i care about the gullible and new to investing getting separated from their hard earned. call it a penance for having worked in the city for 30 years. anyway - new investors, look at my posting history and look at my track record of calling out bull****. everyone else god bless and good luck. out.

Yes, I studied some of his stuff at Cambridge, he’s very bright and very connected, especially these days in crypto space; a large advocate. As I said a couple of weeks back he is the only point of interest here for me, I see nothing else other than his appointment being noteworthy. As I said back then, that isn’t sufficient for me to invest, maybe he’s just after a payday. Nobody has been able to provide anything that dissuades me from that view.

SYB - just further to the moniker play, you should have used Sheikhyerbooty, missed a trick there. Some gullible punters might have thought you were a qatari royal. It could have helped propagate the myth that the qataris are fully involved here.

The “Qataris” put in £100k, a total rounding error for them. They are probably completely unaware they are invested, they spend more on dinner. Smacks of the CEO using a mate of his who manages a fund there calling in a favour to invest a negligible amount to give credence to his new vehicle.

Seriously, what on earth did you glean from that, that is hugely positive. There was absolutely nothing of any substance, it appeared to be just quotes and inuendo. Geniune question, maybe I am missing something…

Just listened to that interview, absolutely nothing of value in it. A total crypto word salad. Essentially he wants to create a bitcoin treasury biz, which if there’s no other angle, is basically a bitcoin ETF. There is no justification for anything other than a 1xNAV of their holdings. He’ll ride the wave of the mania no doubt, but when the tide goes out you’ll see he wearing no shorts. It will be like the wizard of oz. Might it rise substantially? Possibly, there is a frothing mania around these plays. Is it justified? No, not in a pure treasury form.
