The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Nope. I expected a TW comment but never saw a mention. Perhaps having warned of fundraising woes against all our expevtations and the BODs reassurance and comment up to the dire delivery, TW feels there's not much to add after such a crushing blow and whilst we remain significant news-free and sub retail offer price. Hes already said it all and nothings changed!
Rees.....GO!
Nice info davand. Note closing date is 14/5, so although not sure when vacancy was first advertised (unless you know?) It should be filled imminently.
Good luck there Steve.
I regularly traded lower pre Funding and SP chartering, with Results and TU always a sure win as we've seen yet again!
The opportunity to spot trading scenarios are a bit less clear now I feel.
we should have learnt....
we need to focus today on all necessary levers for a company sale tomorrow (within existing funding window i.e. post Taiwan sale, so this year)
There will be NO warning once again, with all is well up to the cliff edge, if we don't act with purpose in this regard. aimho
if you don't mind answering Steve....what did you get your average price down to as at today?
indeed Steve
the BOD (LR) should read just today's posts here and realise that spin and omission is a continuation of failing investors. Dome of the ommissions like Ambry comment and much more are Red flag events given this BODs history!
Delays galore has been a hallmark unfortunately.....
" Is the Taiwan disposal really progressing as expected? In December they said it should have been done in Q1 2023?"
perhaps covid testing will return with new Arcturus variant spreading?
great posts slich and sorcerer.
Once again our reporting TU was mixed and spun for all its worth whilst looking under the hood for explanation to flush out detail and actuality.
Met with the unfailing market reaction.
Just how does LR have any authority left after this debacle!
imv Ranger is NOT demonstrating enough market penetration rather it's been a bit typical....I.e. disappointing!
Davand....nobody is suggesting sell right now - today, but with a set goal to sell, we prime the pumps and get proactive. All we've seen is under performance. At prices where seeking a sale made sense and i was pleading for it, we simply didn't act other than to avoid it. That's the mindset that must change today for a sale tomorrow.
Clark8004 equally i've seen shareholders reading in expectations and assumptions continually on every hope and prayer. You may be right. It may be scripted. My guess is just like all the other times, a sale is not sought yet and certainly not in any negs. Yes, I'm cynical because this speculation has been here time and again most recently expecting an offer many months ago that I think Optimistic Guy expected on the same grounds as yourself before imminent results/TU back then. It simply looks plausible with rumour and seems set up, but isn't even in play. You see a gameplay where I see another fakeout to nothing. Aimho
I don't believe a buyer is lined up. That's just typical shareholder wishful thinking we often hear of that's got no legs.
The BOD would need to be forced to get off the gravy train - they like to remain in control with visions of growing the company. We can't trust them to yet be looking for a sale.
Don't be so nieve, gullible and optimistic as it's simply too early for them to have any impetus to act. Aimho
For me after missed chances to put the for sale sign up and much higher prices, it's IMPERATIVE we actively engage and seek a buyer.
We've missed opportunities whilst trying to rescue reputations and grow shareholder value. Enough! The verdict is clear......our goal is to get the best sale price before we get more hiccups!!
Typo...out not put
We will see .....the market appears unimpressed!
Jury put for now?
Thanks for pointing that out davand.
It ain't a revolution though!
Concern comes from knowing this TU is the spin of news....wherein lies the reality we shall shall find out as things unfold...Taiwan sale and further funding etc
Generally positive though Ranger ain't no revolution....clearly!
Over 2 million to 2.2 million. lol
will we get the talk of excitement. We are pleased to announce etc. Followed by the usual inverse market reaction!
I despair at the regularity of it all
TU finally imminent now then and i imagine we are ALL eagerly awaiting a rare news event!
My biggest ask is that expectations are at least met and even exceeded. it would be a FIRST not to result in a static or falling SP and immense disappointment.
Just once let's be able to :-) rather than :-(
Lyn, you really allowed the funding crisis that occurred to shaft long term holders and for that my personal view as we sit below the Retail Offer price is people do and should be sacked for far less irresponsibility. Your'e fine - loading up, now with iro 0.5p average price.....now pi55 off in favour of a competant ceo! What ever good you have provided here has been totally wiped out!
aimho
all buys today starting with mine.
only 3 trades though!
just my vain prayer following on from usual playbook and hopes to hear Taiwan divestment a possibility in that timeframe. Heaven forbid it takes a year or more! With Taiwan I'm looking for £ 2.5m to £3.5m with a strong expectation nearer the lower end and suggest they may raise their heads above the parapet if a rising SP off news of divestment.
As always could be well off with typical delays etc but it seems a feasible hope.
