Afraid not, Idles have been shooting in Abbey Road. (Not to say melody aren’t involved though?)

Not sure the reference, which I guess means no.
The photo comes from a very trusted source. Afaik there aren't any 'live' shows happening at Brixton for quite a while, I can't see what else they'd be loading in for, and they are certainly a company that specialise in live event haulage. Any better explanations Pud?
Pictures of a string of trucks loading into Brixton Academy over night last night... surely this amount of trucks means lighting/backline/production for a very big artist...?
I disagree with you there A1ex, I think there is something more enticing about knowing it is live, knowing that thousands of others are tuning in to view it at the same time, collectively enjoying a virtual experience. I would suggest that this shouldn't be overlooked and that proper Live events should be marketed differently from pre-records.
There's a reason that Jools Holland is shown twice in the same week, the Tuesday being a live show and the Friday being a pre-recorded version of the same show (for those that aren't aware, it's the same performers but with additional performances, recorded on the Tuesday afternoon, before the live broadcast). From being in the room from a backstage perspective, there is definitely more buzz around the artists for the Live show and (subjectively) brings on a better performance.
Need I say more..? Could this be the first big step?
VR content, afaik, takes a lot of hours editing in post production to get right. If these concerts are full length, that's potentially 90 minutes of footage to edit and check through until it's perfect.
Whilst they say they have 800 recordings, they don't necessarily say it's 800 recordings ready to be released... unless I'm missing something here they are just using that 800 number to excite people, not that I doubt their abilities at providing it, they might have just been a bit ambitious with their targets!
Just gotta wait until the USA wakes up...
I'm surprised they have released multiple new shows all at the same time, rather than drip-feeding. I know that these artists aren't all the same audience market, but wouldn't it be, to maintain a bit of social media buoyancy, a better idea? Anyone got any thoughts as to why they might be releasing in this way?
Would it not be better for this to get really popular whilst there are relatively few investors? That way the SP can creep up and when it goes boom the SP is higher than it is now? Higher starting point means higher peak surely? Quite new to this so please explain if this is wrong!
As long as their crew have the correct visas, their only more-unique equipment is cameras that I am sure can be packed into cases for flying. So yes I'd confidently say they could record whatever they wanted tomorrow, so long as flight times allows, if they were so inclined.
