I seem to recall that you only need to notify when you have finished your buying. So if you move up a percent but still have a buy order in place you can wait. So maybe still adding. This is to protect the buyer against an increased SP if the declaration triggers a flood of buying, thus stopping them getting their buy order worked. Not 100% sure but that's what I read a while back.

A compelling case for investment in CHP:

* The board invested £230k at 0.0035 in a recent placing

* Jim McColl swapped 250k shares in Alba for CHP shares at a price of 0.0043. He now owns 13.36% of CHP

* CHP have stated several times they intend to increase their current 3.65% (£1m investment) stake in Alba

* Alba have already applied to the PRA & FCA for CHP to be a controller of Alba as they anticipate CHP will have more than a 10% interest

* CHP allegedly walked away from an offer by Peterhouse Capital to raise money at 0.002 as it was deemed too low

* Alba has many wealthy backers already invested and is shortly expected to announce it has raised the required £25m of regulatory capital to finalise the banking licence that has been conditionally approved. It is ready for immediate start up across Britain once this occurs

* As well as the investment in Alba, which will significantly change the financial footing of the company, CHP also have various other investments that in total exceed the current mcap

Headline loss is probably off putting but assets and cash are more than current mcap and they stipulate that they are still going forward with the further investment in Alba, who are in the final throws of announcing they've raised the money to get the licence fully signed off. All I can see is positives. The current £1m investment in Alba will be worth more than the current mcap alone, regardless of anything else. Once Alba have finalised the fundraiser, and CHP can announce their participation in it, this will go mad

Spot on Anunnaki, it’s clear that the board asked the city to put together an offer of funding but it wasn’t acceptable. Probably as the current assets of CHP are undervalued as it is. Jim knows he can get a better deal privately with his great connections. It’s refreshing that a board is looking after the value of the company rather than taking a low ball fundraise.

As I said yesterday, holding RNS. They were offered the money at 0.002 but refused and argued it was worth a lot more. Some key investors agreed. That’s all I know.

Just a set of traders

Maybe a holding RNS tomorrow, saying ongoing good progress with fundraising and more to follow next week. I would have expected a bigger move, either way, if funding was sorted and known to some individuals. But everything is pointing to a great couple of weeks as Jimbo doesn’t tend to fail when he’s come this far.
