Thanks all for the insights.
Mehmet66, that's a well reasoned argument. Thanks :-)
@Silenttalker Silent, I was meaning a rise "to" 20p (i.e. 3p ish) lol
Thanks all (Silenttalker, chasable, Wenglishboy, JeezL) for your valued input. I have read quite a bit about this share and I do think it's a (potentially!) very good investment. I'm quite nervous about AIM shares as a whole as I'm not sure how much the system is rigged. It really seems to be the Wild West of shares but, after saying that, I suppose it's all about balancing the risk/reward and not betting the house on it.
Will certainly be keeping my fingers crossed for a load of success for this company. Not just for my shares, but also for the planet in general. :-)
For the more experienced members of this board, is there any estimation on share price rise if the approval is given for Uskmouth? Are we talking a modest rise (20p ish) due to the fact that fundamentally the company hasn't generated any more wealth? Or would we be expecting a more substantial rise?
(I realise no-one can say for sure - but I'm just wondering if experienced investors can share their rough expectations)?
Yep, that's a good point. Was hoping for a short term rise in this but happy to wait.
Thanks :-)
Bought in at 19.2p this morning... it's done nothing but fall since then.... :-(
Really hope we get a result with the environmental license but, as has been mentioned, I also see FotE's point in their objections.
Done it :-)
Hi lselee, Out of curiosity when was that? Has the 2 months lapsed? Thanks
Didn't know that. Thanks. :-)
If the details of the arbitration are secret between the arbitration panel and all the information was presented last year for them to sift through and make a decision on, then how can our board possibly have any idea of when a decision will arrive? The "very near future" comment must have either been pure speculation OR our board have been informed by someone that a decision will be arrived at by x date? But, if there is a definite date for a decision, then surely the decision must already be known? In which case wouldn't the arbitration panel just spill the beans? If arbitration proceedings were a set duration then it would be easy to take the hearing date and extrapolate a decision date. But, as they aren't, then how can we be saying "very near future" unless some information has either presented itself to the board, or it was a (at best) off-the-cuff addition to the RNS based on a combination of wishful thinking and educated guess? Surely there wouldn't be a decision made and then further wranglings behind closed doors as that would add an element of cloak and dagger to the proceedings? I would be extremely interested to hear the rational behind using "very near future" in the RNS. I do hope it wasn't just a way of injecting life into the share in order for large stakeholders to make a quick buck from us 'easily-led' PIs ? (although, based purely on forum members genuine opinions of our board, I think that is unlikely).
Good info Petty. Thanks for reporting :-)
