Uk government don't deserve us, greatest country in the world, greatest scientists let down by a bunch of crooks. Unfortunately we won't be selling here,(they wouldn't pay up anyway) but we will to the rest of the world and save lives. I am very angry, I lost a good friend in march to covid aged 64, I believe if we had government support he'd be alive today.
Looking at the chart this hasn't really moved since 2.25pm,someone loading up?
The way I see things are that most of the shares are held by our board and institutions and they are not selling. This leaves private investors that hold the rest, of these most aren't selling either. The market makers job is to make money trying to attract buyers and sellers. The market therefore is small, so that's when strategy comes into play. If so few shares are being traded then why does the share price even move. The answer to that one is market makers don't make anything if the sp is stagnant, so they have to create one. Nothing has changed, if anything got even better. If you don't want to participate in the micro market, just hold.
That would nice Sean 12345, just in time for Christmas!
To be honest I've been wishing for a nice big juicy offer everyday since the suspension.
Don't be too disappointed if it doesn't happen this week, if it takes a few more weeks/months it doesn't really matter, just hold on to the shares and you will be rewarded.
Another day of up a penny down a penny. I bought in before the suspension so I'm not complaining, just very bored! I dream of a day when we get a decent offer and that lovely adrenaline rush! Feeling my heart pounding, hands shaking, with a stupid grin on my face.
I suppose it all depends on the offer, but I'm sure it will be a good one.
I dream of a £1 a share but when you look at what we have £3 billion doesn't seem enough. So many shares in this company but so few are actually traded, the board have a huge holding, and institutions hold large amounts. I have no doubt that negotiations are going on, trying to get the best deal they can. We hold metals that are wanted by the world so we can hold out for the best deal. All we need to do is sit on our hands, the deal will come but for how much, that's the exciting bit!
Completely agree Newbie642, we are much too soft in this country. I watched '24 hours in police custody' last night and there was a fight in Luton where one of them had a loaded shotgun, charges were dropped!! Just makes me so angry.
Hi Pompeyrod
I think I know the place you mean, we stayed in an all inclusive in Los Cristianos a few years ago but sometimes ate out. I love the place, really would like to settle there one day. I would have to be careful though with drinking too much, last time we were there I was having tequila with my breakfast!
A stupid question probably but I have these in an Isa. I take it these will now trade outside in a trading account and no longer have a tax free status. Sorry if this has been covered.
Thanks fandg2, I wouldn't have the cheek to ask for advice as there must be some deep underwater here. I'll give the website a read, hopefully will get the gist of what's gone on in past. Good luck with your investment.
Well done on the recent rises and after reading the latest RNS looking great for the future.
I'm here to ask a favour, can anyone please direct me to a condensed history of the company. I have read most of the past RNS 's but I'm still a little confused by the collapse of the share price. I know of the court case recently but have know idea what it was about. Please be gentle, it's not a wind up I would like to make a purchase here but know nothing of the company. To me, the latest RNS looks brilliant, and looking great for a continuing recovery.
I have shares mostly in mining and pharmaceutical companies but want an oil play too. I could just buy BP or Shell but I'm looking for a recovery stock. Thank you and all very best, hope to join you soon.
I hope so, I'm in pain here. Part of that pain is a brain ache as I can't work out why we are valued so low.
I need a 65% increase just to breakeven, do you think that's achievable this year?
Thank you all very much for the sp predictions and that brilliant piece by Hydrogen and Bamps.
I now have more understanding of what I have invested in and hope the answers to my questions has given others confidence to buy, but more importantly hold for the long term. Myself like many others I'm sure, have seen portfolios take a large hit this year. I have about 30 odd in my portfolio and although overall have made good gains, have seen a significant reduction on value. I have decided next week to have a clear out of some of those bad performing stocks and increase here. GGP are already a significant percentage of my portfolio but I'm happy to increase. I believe that there is definitely a sector change happening and precious metals producers / explorers are the future. GGP in my opinion are a once life time opportunity and even after a couple of days of increases have a huge upside.
Thanks again.
Please excuse the bad grammar and missing words, I'm typing on my very small phone and it is 5am!
Being fortunate to have a low average of 5.8, I've sat watching the sp do it's thing with little concern. In my opinion there are great things to come so have intentions of selling any time soon. If I'm honest a lot of the technicals are way over my head and have no idea what the true value is now and potentially in the future. It would however be sensible I think, sometime in the future to bank some profits. I would be interested to know people's opinions on where they think the sp is going in short, medium and long term.
I understand it's opinion based only but we all must have figures in mind. I could state a figure but that would be meaningless as I truly don't understand much of the science . I have read lots of articles about GGP before investing as well all the RNS, and compared them to other companies, so I haven't been lazy, just a bit thick!
Thank you.
First of all I am 15% down, but no I'm not a trader! There are many shares on aim and didn't know this one existed until the big rise yesterday morning. I didn't want to jump straight in as I hadn't done any research. When I had I bought a few at 4.15pm and a larger amount today, I'm here for the long haul.
Not sure if I was spiked at 33.7? With only a 4 million mc, I feel confident of rises to come. Obviously being down 15% isn't nice to look at but could be worse!
Buy the dip, wish I could!
I can sell 22,000 shares in one go
Sell @30.35
