It's all hot air. Last Friday we were at this price, the share was driven up 10 percent pre divi, then simply dropped today.

So if you'd bought any month before yesterday you would profit nicely.

I took a gamble and topped up late, ie yesterday, have divi, but lost 10 percent share value.

If I had had the funds guaranteed I should have bought last Thursday, got a 10 percent hike, then got divi too.

It is strange, gkp is in the green on google finance, yet down to 227.

Personally, I'll go out on a limb here, I see oil reaching unprecedented levels.
Why? Because 'they' plan to put the post Covid world, one in which they mopped up true resources for peanuts while others bought ponzis, into a cycle of extraordinary inflation. Increasing all manner of spending, pensions etc. Using this 'giving' as a pretext to rerate value across the world.

Oil could hit 150 dollars, or 250.

It is a new world coming. Property will become unattainable.

So presumed divi in the pocket and have gone ahead and added. Things feel good here. It seems secure now. Funny trying to remember when I jumped ship, was it 80p old money, was tough to watch lths get smashed. Criminal.

Truly hoping I am investing in something with long term promise now. Let us see.

As the day approaches, to reinvest, or not to, that is the question

Consider this: to legitimately be paying 10 percent divi, as advertised on Google finance, we should be, at the least, trading at 3x today's market cap.

At 150 million share divi, it should be touching 1.5 billion market cap.

That's as simple as Maths gets.

Initial thoughts are to re invest now, till share price hits 5 pound, or a billion. Then start taking the divi as profits, til 2038.

That's a massive difference. Brings us to 2033, then 5 year to 2038 before any problems. At 30 percent dividend a year, we are, literally, sorted.

Incredible to get around those numbers... 60p would be 30 percent dividend, unprecedented. And they are clearly masking this payout from the broader market with these 'special' dividends.

Opulentia, the market is pure illusion. I try stick to long term Buffet idea: buy what has true value. Made many big mistakes, have lost truck loads, but back in here with a vengeance, everything here has always made sense, just PI's needed to be wiped to let the whales in. Hopefully now thet let us feed off their scraps, which will make us small fry do alright.

Yep, 2 five year extensions. Thanks for that info, so considering find was '09, taking 5 year 1st extension as foregone conclusion, we have until 2034... so 12 years safely left?
