Hi extrader, at the AGM ST stated that at a meeting a fortnight before with one of the two countries that were 'imminent' he was told it would be ordered within ten days. He did say he wasn't holding his breath! However what was said was that a couple of other contracts were being moved forward by the customers themselves. He wisely refrained from predicting the timing! I see three future revenue streams.

1. Marine Domain contracts that are the biggy. Once the contract is started SRT will have
a future customer for a long long time. Witness Bahrain returning for upgrades and extensions and the Philippines also looking ahead.

2. Product sales. The sales channels and agents are continuously being increased and because the R & D products are being upgraded every couple of years or so there is a continuous stream of new customers plus older ones are upgrading. The new Nexus product will only cement this trend. It is entirely possible that within say three maybe four years or this division could actually support the whole operation.

3. Data capture and management. Once the Domain systems are up and running and the contract is completed there will be a reoccurring revenue stream from the customer re data. This is in fact cementing them in to a forever customer.

What could possibly go wrong!!!

Hi BitSub, It's no good engaging with twix, he will merely change the subject if you come up with a legitimate issue. I have no doubt that sometimes he says something that is relevant and reasoned but you have to wade through a treacle of egotistical bile that is repeated ad nauseum to find it and it's not just worth it. Filter and be done.

All valid points GLTrader and well presented. Since Lyn Rees got here we've consistently grown both products and revenue, bit of a covid-19 blip re revenue - but we're not alone there! To read some of the comments on here it's got little to do with the actual company but more to do with their own ego's and perceived self importance.

Hi SparkyT, It's all todo with the trade price, if you buy at a good price then it's a bit of a guess. I use iweb and this is not uncommon - seems a bit of an anomaly in this day and age but that's how it seems to work - or not perhaps!

Yes John, litigation is the biggy but I think there's a fighting chance of the company pulling through anyway - it might just happen anyway! I think it hinges on freight rates and that is not within Fox's control so anything can happen. This is in truth a real gamble.

The sale price of 5.4 Billion of Inmarsat has as much relevance to SRT as the £68 Mill MC has against that 5.4 Billion. We use satellites but we don't do satellites - we investigated but wisely became a customer and not a supplier. Inmarsat just doesn't have the software that we have to compete realistically in AIS .

Should be a real help to get our core businesses back on track. Don't get me wrong I'm glad for the covid-19 testing revenue but by it's nature it is low margin compared to our long term business model. I was impressed though by the speed that we produced a 1st class product and it saved our bacon but for me the long term is the niche areas with less competition and higher margins.

Hi John, I originally bought in April '17 and sold 2 years later because of the way the Kosovo government was acting. I said at the time it was a bit too wild west for me. I had £2.5k invested and lost about £800. I started buying back in Jan '20 when the government changed. Chris Gilbert gets my vote because he just keeps on swinging. Couple this with good stone and a low wage economy and I treat this as my 3.30 at Chepstow. I need about 2p to breakeven so I reckon I'm still well in the running!

Hi unvrkw, erm well yes, 50p is perhaps a possibility! Stone Alliance will have to be progressing well for that though.

Both at the actual AGM and afterwards while we had s buffet lunch Nexus was cautiously discussed. You can revisit the AGM recording. But what was really interesting was the informal chat around the buffet table attended by the BoD and senior management. Nothing was 'given away' but the strong confidence was palpable.

It combines VHF and AIS in a unique combination that is a step-change in advance of anything else on the market. It has trade presentations this year to allow customer companies and wholesalers to gear up for the launch late next year.
SRT is pulling out all the stops on this one. The contention is that Nexus will transform the product/Transponder business. They have doubled down on the production design and have invested a lot of time in testing with a range of people including professional sailors as to the operating controls. Should the different functions be buttons, switches or knobs. SRT want to make it as user friendly as possible.

It is this R & D that will sustain the long term future of SRT. We know that Bahrain has repeatedly returned for upgrades and development. The responder business benefits in the same way. I've said before that once a customer of SRT you're a customer for life!

The SP will rise with core product sales in the States. The product model for YGEN is a reasonably high margin product with few competitors. Covid testing is pretty much the opposite - not poo pooing the revenue from Covid testing so far but there's a lot of competition. once the sales split shows more core revenue then the profit will come quite quickly I reckon.

Thanks for the info Alocasia. I think this neatly illustrates the point that there is a lot of complexity in many of the deals/arrangements/contracts that we have entered into. This is a complicated and fast moving market we are in. I understand the licensing model and this is why I am here but I just don't always comprehend the marketing!

Welcome aboard iceman, Re the court case I think we have a reasonable chance of winning but the big question is how much. The loss to the company is difficult to measure but I would expect a much lower payout than the claim itself.

I see the successful outcome as cementing the future of Fox. No debt, new equipment, cash to open up new quarries and establish new sales channels and most importantly fund Stone Alliance.

Good point Alocasia. I too would like a little more detail as this is a complex area and it is difficult to evaluate the different relationships. The market place is also different for different countries. EG I understand that our Canadian venture will offer free games at first in order to acclimatize customers. Depending on the length of this it will possibly take to the 2nd half of next year before we see meaningful revenue. Welcome of course a slow burner at present. At least that's how I see it but I could be wrong - I just don't know.

I'm guessing that we only get paid when a customer actually buys and this is, in effect, a shop window. However really good news and shows that the reports of our death are perhaps exaggerated! Processed stone has a higher margin than block so lets hope the venture is successful.

Maybe they really do have a grip - I just hope the current drop is not a market reflection of what it is that they actually have a grip on!!??

What a surprise! Less stone in the ground and more cash in the bank! I'm guessing we have reached the winter quarry shut-down so there is at least a part order to fill when we re-open in the spring. Do we dare to dream?

Over 18 months ago these contracts were mentioned and discussed on this board. Still not made it!

On the face of it a good RNS. Difficult to assess the significance of this as "a project in Kosovo" is too vague. Can't do any harm of course but I don't know if current contracts have a winter shut down period due to winter installation difficulties. Lets hope it lets us limp along to A) lower freight rates and/or B) arbitration.

Err - Thanks navigator. I'm 100 per cent wrong!! As an ex seaman (which your handle suggests you are also) I got that mixed up. In my defense I was in catering so Time Zones were Just a nuisance!! Cheers.
