You're better off trying to guess what price would be appetising enought to the BoD for them to put to the rest of the shareholders. But, at the end of the day, all anyone can do is just wait and see if an offer of any amount comes in and then vote according to your personal circumstances at that time.

Infinity, that average would be largely made of companies that are fully operational. Mining explorers are probably not typical m&a's and unlikely to conform to the average?

Scuba/ctc, you thought 50p was still possible. Can you give examples of a company selling for 18x SP? Though I'm sure there are examples of companies being sold for many multiples of the SP?

If a buyer offered something like 10% over current SP, I 'd like to think the BoD would laugh in their faces. Current SP probably irrelevant wrt offers?

Wolfie - we don't know it will be "heavily discounted", that's just your assumption. It may be fair to say that the price could have been higher without the war but, it is simply unknowable.

If an offer is eventually put to shareholders then, and only then, will you get your answer as to whether the majority shareholders (as opposed to the majority of folk) will accept that offer. It won't have anything to do with what the majority of folk want. Personally, of course I'll want more than my average, and would likely accept anything above that at the earliest opportunity rather than an indefinite amount of time for an indefinite increase in offers.
