I don't know how much a full letter of indemnity would've cost them (from what I've seen, I'm guessing < 0.5% of value of the shares, what ever that was at the time? Maybe £100,000) but, bet it would have been a lot cheaper than the bills from 3 x peed-off law firms? :-)

Again, the definition of "material" comes up. I personally take that as an offer that's serious enough to announce. But, that's just my guess.

That's true BFl, I agree for a change. Even though it's a bit of a moving target, it would be interesting to know the threshold above which an offer becomes material?

Just calling out Offler who does claim to call out liars by going thru theit history - he works in law enforcement don't you know? - thought I would take his advice.

Whilst I appreciated his anti-conspiracy theories stance (against anti-vaxxers, and the anti- West, anti-MSM brigade), it pretty clear to me his comments about any shares are purely to support his short term trading agenda. Which is fine, but he shouldn't claim to be the bastion of truth. Many, many (many!), times he has tild about his 'investment group' is that just another way of saying 'bouler room'?

I did humour BFL/Scuba/CTC and read the GGP thread. It was aptly named 'Speculation'. It contained a semi-useful link (below), but it was probably only meant asa cross-ramp by BFL?

The thread started with someone hinting at inside info (something that's usually highly triggering for BFL/Scuba/CTC!?) of an incoming bid of 12p. This is double the current GGP SP, something all negheads here said was impossible.
